  • Patent number: 9010070
Abstract: A structural framing member comprises a web flanked by a pair of flanges. The flanges may extend generally perpendicularly from the side edges of the web. In some embodiments, the web may comprise a plurality of evenly-spaced embossments positioned along the centerline of the web. The embossments may be diamond shaped. The web may further comprise one or more longitudinally extending offsets that extend along the length of the web. Each flange may comprise a plurality of evenly-spaced longitudinally extending stiffeners. The longitudinally extending stiffeners may be spaced approximately ?? (0.953 cm) apart from each other. In some embodiments, each flange may further comprise a free end, which is bent inwardly to form a return lip along the length of the flange. The return lip may extend generally perpendicularly from the flange and generally parallel to the web. The structural framing member may comprise a stud, track member, or other framing member.

  • Publication number: 20080244810
Abstract: A helmet (24) having a built-in storage compartment (7) located beneath an exterior shell (2) of the helmet (24). The helmet (24), which may be a helmet (24) used in sporting activities or for work purposes, has interior shell (23) adapted to engage a head of a user, a front portion (3), a rear portion (4) and a first side (5) and an opposing second side (6). At least one storage compartment (7) is located between the exterior shell (2) and the interior shell (23) wherein the storage compartment (7) is predeterminedly sized and predeterminedly shaped. The storage compartment (7) has a base (8) and preferably four sides (9, 10, 11 and 12) extending from the base (8) which intersect with the exterior shell (2) to form the storage compartment (7). A cover (13) is secured to the helmet exterior shell (2) and is predeterminedly sized and shaped so as to substantially cover the storage compartment (7).

  • Patent number: 4819832
Abstract: A dispenser is specially adapted for being carried in handbags or pockets. A nozzle is pivotable between a projecting and a retracted position. When in the retracted position it lies within the envelope of a casing and a pump head on which it is mounted is blocked from any movement by abutment against a part on the casing, this part also acting to block the outlet end of a passage in the nozzle to prevent leakage of any material left in that passage after the last use of the dispenser. At the same time the inlet to the passage is closed off by a wall of the passage. When the nozzle is in its projecting position, the inlet and the passage are put in communication and the head may be depressed to express a charge through the nozzle.
