    Abstract: Polymeric mixtures of a cholesterol material and a monomer are disclosed which can advantageously be utilized for the construction of temperature indicating devices. Each polymeric composition exhibits a color at temperatures below a fixed threshold temperature and then appears colorless at the threshold temperature. This characteristic permits safe, compact, accurate, fast responsive, disposable temperature indicating and warning devices to be made.
