    Abstract: In one embodiment, the present invention provides an ironing board having a leg-retaining clip adapted for use with at least one adjustable leg. The board includes a plate secured in a spaced relationship from the board. The leg-retaining clip includes a base having a first side and a second side. The clip also includes a base member having a first section adapted to engage one side of the plate and a second section adapted to engage another side of the plate. The base may also include at least one opening that receives a locking member located on the plate to retain the base on the plate. At least one leg-locking clip is attached to the base to releasably engage one or more adjustable legs.

The bassinet can be transformed from an erected position wherein a floor of the bassinet is substantially horizontal to ground, and elevated therefrom by a stand, to a folded position wherein the bassinet is compacted into a relatively small size. Using a uni-directional hinge in the floor of the bassinet, and a plurality of over-center locks, the floor of the bassinet can be locked into the horizontal position easily and effectively, without any structure provided directly below the center of the bassinet floor.

    Abstract: A portable collapsible bassinet for suspension in a play yard is disclosed. The bassinet includes floor support bars disposed within fabric tunnels in the floor of the bassinet. The support bars each comprise at least two portions that are secured together by a spring element. The floor support bars provide even support for infants disposed in the bassinet. When not in use, the portions of the floor support bars can be disengaged to allow the bassinet to be folded into a compact position. The support bars and other components remain secured to the bassinet when erected and/or collapsed to eliminate the possibility of lost parts.

The locking joint includes a latch that prevents the lower frame section containing the joint from folding unless the latch is intentionally released. The latch can be released when the play yard is fully erected or partially folded.
