Abstract: In one embodiment, the present invention provides an ironing board having a leg-retaining clip adapted for use with at least one adjustable leg. The board includes a plate secured in a spaced relationship from the board. The leg-retaining clip includes a base having a first side and a second side. The clip also includes a base member having a first section adapted to engage one side of the plate and a second section adapted to engage another side of the plate. The base may also include at least one opening that receives a locking member located on the plate to retain the base on the plate. At least one leg-locking clip is attached to the base to releasably engage one or more adjustable legs.

The license plate holder also includes a plurality of advertisement indicia, a pair of support frame apertures, a first pair of back plate apertures and a second pair of back plate apertures and a pair of support tabs used to support the license plate within the license plate holder.

The bassinet can be transformed from an erected position wherein a floor of the bassinet is substantially horizontal to ground, and elevated therefrom by a stand, to a folded position wherein the bassinet is compacted into a relatively small size. Using a uni-directional hinge in the floor of the bassinet, and a plurality of over-center locks, the floor of the bassinet can be locked into the horizontal position easily and effectively, without any structure provided directly below the center of the bassinet floor.

Abstract: A walker for a toddler or infant is disclosed. The walker has a base and a seat operatively coupled to the base. It also includes a plurality of rollers for supporting the base on a walking surface such as a floor. The walker also includes a brake which is positioned to constantly apply friction to at least one of the rollers to thereby inhibit the travel speed of the walker.

Abstract: A portable collapsible bassinet for suspension in a play yard is disclosed. The bassinet includes floor support bars disposed within fabric tunnels in the floor of the bassinet. The support bars each comprise at least two portions that are secured together by a spring element. The floor support bars provide even support for infants disposed in the bassinet. When not in use, the portions of the floor support bars can be disengaged to allow the bassinet to be folded into a compact position. The support bars and other components remain secured to the bassinet when erected and/or collapsed to eliminate the possibility of lost parts.

Abstract: A play yard having a foldable lower frame with a locking joint is disclosed. The locking joint includes a latch that prevents the lower frame section containing the joint from folding unless the latch is intentionally released. The latch is biased into the latch position, but can be intentionally released when the play yard is erected or partially erected to complete folding of the play yard. The latch can be released when the play yard is fully erected or partially folded.

Abstract: A play yard having a collapsible top assembly and a collapsible bottom assembly, each assembly connected to at least three spaced vertical posts. The bottom assembly includes a collapsible subassembly. Pairs of post connecting members pivotally connect each vertical post to the subassembly forming truss segments. The truss segments and subassembly form a truss. Stabilizer feet are connected to the subassembly. The truss vertical posts and stabilizer feet serve to support and stabilize the play yard when it is in an erected position.

Abstract: An extender unit for an infant walker in which the unit is adapted to extend laterally outwardly away from the walker base. The unit is formed of a plurality of extender segments which can be releasably locked to each other and to the walker base by wheel inserts having one-way locks. Wheel assemblies are inserted into the wheel posts on the extender unit. The extender segments, wheel posts, and wheel assemblies can be shipped separate from the infant walker and assembled to the walker at a use site. The walker device cannot be used by an infant without the extender unit because all wheel assemblies are mounted in the extender unit.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for coupling an infant carrier to a stroller in which the carrier has extensions projecting outward from the carrier side walls and the stroller has guide housings with an open face recess adapted to receive the extensions. An actuation bar located contiguous to the stroller handle bar serves to release biased latch members which lock the carrier extension to the stroller guide housings.

Abstract: A child car seat having at least one adjustment assembly for adjusting a child seat shield relative to the seat. The assembly includes a biased finger bar attached to a slide member which is slidably mounted on a mounted member pivotally attached to the seat shell. A shield leg is pivotally attached to the mounting member. The finger bar can be actuated to cause a lock key either to engage or disengage from a plurality of openings located in an adjuster plate pivotally mounted to the seat shell.

Abstract: A multi-sided play yard having a collapsible top assembly and a collapsible bottom assembly, each assembly connected to at least three spaced vertical posts. The bottom assembly includes a collapsible assembly with collapsible legs. The collapsible legs each include leg portions pivotally connected to a respective vertical post and to a multiple pivot joint member. Stabilizer feet are pivotally connected to each collapsible leg by a multiple pivot joint member. The vertical posts, leg members, and stabilizer feet serve to support and stabilize the play yard when it is in an erected position.
