  • Patent number: 11544281
Abstract: In some embodiments, a model training system trains a sample generation model configured to generate synthetic data entries for a dataset. The sample generation model includes a prior model for generating an estimated latent vector from a partially observed data entry, a proposal model for generating a latent vector from a data entry of the dataset and a mask corresponding to the partially observed data entry, and a generative model for generating the synthetic data entries from the latent vector and the partially observed data entry. The model training system trains the sample generation model to optimize an objective function that includes a first term determined using the synthetic data entries and a second term determined using the estimated latent vector and the latent vector. The trained sample generation model can be executed on a client computing device to service queries using the generated synthetic data entries.

  • Publication number: 20070067851
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that facilitates issuing rights in a digital rights management system. The system operates by sending a request to perform an operation on an item of content from a client to a rights-management server, wherein the request includes a usage parameter which specifies constraints involved in performing the operation. Next, the system receives a response from the rights-management server, wherein the response indicates whether or not the client has rights to perform the operation in accordance with the constraints specified by the usage parameter. Note that the response may also include a hint that facilitates generating subsequent requests to perform the operation. Finally, if the client has rights to perform the operation, the system performs the operation on the item of content.

  • Publication number: 20070044788
Abstract: Stoves having a ceramic cooktop mounted within a metal frame with a silicone sealant therebetween are manufactured in a labor saving process involving minimal waste, hand tooling, and cleanup, by providing a leakage-preventing dam paralleling the periphery of the cooktop support surface, positioning the cooktop within the frame, resting on the dam, and applying as a seal, a flowable, curable silicone which cures at a rate such as to allow it to self level, the dam preventing leakage of low viscosity silicone into the stove interior.

  • Publication number: 20050108994
Abstract: Filing device (1) for filling containers (5, 54, 56) with foods and closing said containers, comprising an endless conveyor system (2) with drive means (3), for conveying container holders (4, 55) along an imaginary looped conveyor track with bottom and top track sections (11, 12) that are connected to each other by means of bend sections (12), a container infeed mechanism (17, 52, 53), at least one processing line provided along the conveyor track, a housing (15, 61) that at least partially encloses the processing line, and gas supply means (25, 65) for feeding conditioned gasses into the housing. The workstations are disposed along the conveyor track. A central area (13, 67) is defined between the top and bottom track sectons and the bend sections of the at least one processing line situated along the conveyor track, and gas discharge means (66) are provided for discharging by way of the central area at least part of the gases conveyed into the housing.

  • Publication number: 20050102022
Abstract: A stent-graft with increased longitudinal flexibility that is deployed within a body lumen for supporting the lumen and repairing luminal aneurysms. In a preferred embodiment, the stent-graft is located and expanded within a blood vessel to repair aortic aneurysms. The stent-graft is comprised of an expandable stent portion, an expandable graft portion and at least one elongated rail. The stent portion and graft portion are moveable between the terminal ends of the rail(s) and relative to the rails so that it can conform to the shape of a vessel in which it is deployed. The stent-graft provides increased longitudinal flexibility within a vessel. Also, the stent-graft of the present invention does not kink after expansion, and thus, eliminates the potential for the graft portion occluding the blood flow lumen of the vessel in which it is deployed. Moreover, the wear on the graft is reduced and its longevity increased.
