  • Publication number: 20120093524
Abstract: A method of printing an image onto a sheet in a printer having at least one print module and a transport arrangement defining a transport path for transporting sheets through the at least one print module is shown. In accordance with the method, a series of constant frame clock signals is generated and a sheet is approximately feed into a frame along the sheet transport path in accordance with the frame clock signal, wherein the frame defines a virtual desired sheet position, which moves with a predetermined speed along the sheet transport path. The sheet is transported along the sheet transport path, an in-track position of the sheet in the sheet transport path is detected and it is determined whether the in-track sheet position matches the frame within predetermined limits.

  • Publication number: 20090311022
Abstract: Provided is a device (1) for the alignment of sheets in a printing machine, said device comprising two pairs of rollers for the alignment of the sheets in their advance direction, for the alignment transverse to their advance direction and with respect to skewing, whereby each pair of rollers consists of a driving roller (20a, 20b) and of a counter-pressure roller (22a, 22b). One drive unit (29, 32, 36, 38) is provided for each of the two driving rollers, whereby each of the drive units consists of a motor (38a, 38b) and a drive shaft (29a, 29b) linked therewith, whereby the driving rollers are non-torsionally accommodated on respective drive shafts. The driving rollers can be slid in linear direction on their drive shaft, or the respective drive shafts, and thus the driving rollers accommodated thereon, can be linearly shifted with respect to their drive motors.

  • Patent number: 7174816
Abstract: Tongue and groove pliers include a first member having a slot, and a second member connected to the first member by a pin in the slot. The first member has a plurality of arcuate ribs defining open ended grooves on the side adjacent to the second member. The second member has a tongue on the side facing the first member. The tongue fits in a selected groove to adjust the spacing between opposing jaws on the respective first and second members. The pliers have at least one visual alignment feature to align the tongue with a desired groove. The alignment feature can be readily visible marks indicating locations of the tongue and/or grooves.

  • Patent number: 7040830
Abstract: A fluid-dispensing kitchen apparatus has a body including a fluid reservoir and a handle, the reservoir being closed by an end plate which is welded to the body and is, in turn, latched to a cleaning medium block. An embodiment has a resilient tab on the block engaging an edge of the housing plate. Aligned holes through the plate and the block which provide communication between the reservoir and the plate is openable and closeable by a valve actuated by an increase in pressure provided by depressing a resilient button. In an embodiment, the resilient button includes a bias member to return the button to its rest position.

  • Patent number: 6822669
Abstract: A method and a multibeam scanning device for ablation of a surface on a rotating drum by laser engraving with a multi-spot array includes simultaneously emitting laser beams from fiber exits disposed beside one another, dividing up each of the beams, after emerging from the exit in an AOM array having a number of AOMs corresponding to the number of exits, into two or more partial beams modulated independently of one another, imaging the exits with an optical system on the surface, and moving the exits, the AOM array, and the optical system together in a drum axial direction while the surface is scanned by the multi-spot array in a drum circumferential direction to make possible, without increasing the number of fiber lasers, an increase in the number of scanning points of the multi-spot array and a reduction of the space required by the scanning device.

  • Publication number: 20040163940
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hearing aid multifunctional switch comprising a base part, an externally activable switch arm, and a first and a second set of contact surfaces disposed at a surface of said base part. The first set of contact surfaces is adjacently positioned so as to form a substantially continuous surface, whereas the second set of electrically isolated contact surfaces is adjacently positioned so as to form a substantially continuous surface. The second set of contact surfaces is oppositely arranged to said first set so that the two sets have pairs of corresponding contact surfaces. A contact member is movable between said pairs of contact surfaces for providing electrical contact between a pair of corresponding contact surfaces.

  • Patent number: 6618070
Abstract: A multi-beam scanning apparatus is provided for use with a recording medium that is located on an at least partially cylindrical inner bearing face of a recording device, in which the bearing face has a cylinder axis. The scanning apparatus includes a scanner unit for scanning the recording medium with at least one exposure beam. The scanner unit includes an acousto-optical element that is either an acousto-optical deflector or an acousto-optical modulator. The scanner unit includes a deflection element that is axially displaceable and rotatable relative to the cylinder axis of the bearing face. The acousto-optical element is mounted to rotate together with the deflection element about the cylinder axis.

  • Publication number: 20020135745
Abstract: A multibeam scanning device for scanning a photosensitive material with a multi-spot array includes a plurality of fiber exits, which are in each case detachably inserted into a holder of a mount of the multibeam scanning device. The fiber exits are aligned in order to generate a precise multi-spot array. A method for correcting the position of image points of a multi-spot array is also provided. The fiber exits are inserted into the holder such that they have a defined rotational angle in relation to their axis and such that all image points have substantially the same angular alignment in relation to their desired position. Then the distances of the individual image points from their desired positions are reduced by deflecting the laser beams and/or by delaying the time of incidence of the laser beams on the photosensitive material.
