Abstract: A system for switching between redundant clock signals is provided. The system includes a first clock signal generator configured to generate a first clock signal to provide a primary clock signal, a second clock signal configured to generate a second clock signal to provide a redundant clock signal, and a variable phase shift circuit configured to shift continuously a phase of the second clock signal to match a phase of the first clock signal to maintain the second clock signal in-phase with the first clock signal while the first clock signal is selected.
