  • Publication number: 20090062452
Abstract: The present invention relates to reinforced polyamide molding compounds containing high-melting partially aromatic polyamides and flat glass fibers, in particular with a rectangular cross section, i.e., glass fibers with a noncircular cross-sectional area and a dimension ratio of the main cross-sectional axis to the secondary cross-sectional axis of 2 to 6, in particular 3 to 6, most especially preferably from 3.5 to 5.0. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing polyamide molding compounds and molded articles manufactured therefrom, i.e., in particular injection-molded parts. • Publication number: 20070246936
Abstract: The invention relates to a connection device for a pipe (40) with an annular outer groove (41), which device has a housing (10) in which the pipe (40) may be inserted and locked therein by means of a locking element (30), wherein the locking element (30) engages in an annular inner groove (13) of the housing (10) and in the annular outer groove (41) of the pipe (40), and can be pulled out of the housing through an opening (14) in the housing (10) in a direction tangential to the annular grooves (13, 41), and wherein the locking element (30) is pre-mountable in the inner groove (13) of the housing (10), enables the pipe (40) to be inserted in the housing (10) in this position, with elastic deformation, and in doing so to engage in the outer groove (41) of the pipe (40), characterised in that the locking element, in this position, is arranged and secured fixedly in the housing by bearing against an edge and by enclosing an edge.

  • Publication number: 20070023972
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for equalising the orientation of fillers and/or distribution of fillers in a moulding compound comprising filled plastic material of an injection moulded part. A method of this type is required in particular during injection moulding. The method according to the invention is characterised in that the injection mould and the moulding compound are supplied with sound during injection moulding in the injection mould. The sound has a frequency in the range of the spectrum of the first ten natural frequencies of the filler-matrix system. By supplying with this sound, the fillers, for example fibres, are distributed within the injection moulding compound in a more isotropic manner with respect to their orientation and distribution so that significantly better mechanical and optical properties of the injection moulded part are produced.

  • Patent number: 7040340
Abstract: A grey water tank mounting and control arrangement for the recycling and storage of used water contains three plastic tanks constructed as individual standing units, which can be mechanically connected to one another and to a control unit. The tanks and the control unit contain orienting means so as to permit mutual orientation thereof in such a way that they can be fixed to one another in the correct position.

  • Publication number: 20030178062
Abstract: A grey water apparatus for the recycling and storage of already used water contains three plastic tanks constructed as individual standing units, which can be mechanically connected to one another and to a control unit. The tanks and the control unit contain orienting means so as to permit mutual orientation thereof in such a way that they can be fixed to one another in the correct position.

  • Patent number: 6044564
Abstract: A branch cutter tool (1) having two blades (11,12) that are movable in relation to each other, of which one blade (11) is rigidly connected with a housing (2) and the other blade (12) can be moved by an electric motor (5) via a threaded spindle (8), a threaded nut (21) arranged on the threaded spindle and a rod assembly connected to the threaded nut. The blade (11) has an extension (13) projecting into the housing (2) and the threaded spindle (8) is rotatably supported by means of a rolling bearing (31) which is fixed to the threaded spindle (8) and is axially supported in a recess (17) formed into the extension (13) such that the cutting forces taking place in a cutting operation are absorbed by the components involved so that the housing (2) is not subjected to stress by these forces. The tensile forces transferred to the threaded spindle (8) when the movable blade (12) is closed are applied to the extension (13) via the rolling bearing (31).

  • Patent number: 6021816
Abstract: The invention relates to a corrugated pipe of thermoplastic polymer material for use as fluid line with at least one polymer layer, comprising closed geometric outer contours which are spaced at an interval from each other in the axial direction of the pipe and which define a corrugation on the pipe jacket in at least one radial angular sector in axial, longitudinal direction one behind the other. The closed geometric outer contours are designed in such a manner that two jacket lines of the pipe jacket surface, which lines are approximately opposite one another, are free of corrugations and that these jacket lines extend in the longitudinal direction of the pipe (FIGS. 1b-1d).

  • Patent number: 5918685
Abstract: A hand tool (1) having a drive motor (12), a depth stop (16) by which the drive motor (12) can be automatically switched off when it is in contact with a workpiece (4), and a switching mechanism (21) in an electric circuit (22). The electric circuit (22) includes a switch (24) for switching the drive motor (12) on and off, a first contact element (25) for reversing the polarity of the drive motor (12) and a second contact element (26) for switching off the drive motor (12) by the use of the depth stop (16).

  • Patent number: 5867909
Abstract: Branch shears (1) having two blades (11, 12) that are movable in relation to each other, of which one blade (11) is rigidly connected with a housing (2) and the other blade (12) can be moved by an electric motor (5) via a threaded spindle (8), a threaded nut (21) arranged on the threaded spindle and a rod assembly connected to the threaded nut. A control switch (41) having two reversing switches (42, 43) connected to the circuit of the electric motor (5) is provided. In addition, a control link (51) is attached to the spindle nut (21), onto which the operating cams (53, 54, 55) interacting with the reversing switches (42, 43) are formed. With the aid of the control switch (41), it is possible to stop, continue or reverse the movements of the pivotable blade (12) at any time in a simple manner, thus the movements of this blade can be controlled as desired.
