  • Patent number: 5875999
Abstract: A cable suspension clamp is provided comprising a roller capable in use of rotating as a cable is drawn across it, and securing means comprising a length of material having a central locking portion adapted to engage the roller and a pair of helical arms adapted to be intertwined with, and grip, the cable once the cable is in extended position. Using this clamp it is possible to mount a plurality of rollers along the intended path of the cable, draw cable over the rollers, and secure the cable to the rollers without having to remove the rollers as is conventional practice.

  • Patent number: 3979553
Abstract: A spacer-damper for overhead transmission lines of at least three subconductors comprising arms, one for each subconductor, mounted by resilient damping means to a rigid frame. Each arm has a cable clamp at one end and at least two of the arms extend from the frame so that a line between the clamp and the other end of the arm is in a direction generally perpendicular to a plane including the axis of the bundle and the center line of the subconductor engaged by the clamp.

  • Patent number: 3965286
Abstract: A spacer-damper for a sub-conductor bundle of two or more sub-conductors of an overhead power transmission line comprising an arm for each sub-conductor, each arm having provided at one end a clamp for attachment to a sub-conductor and at the other end a resilient connection connecting said other end of the arm to a lever means extending between one arm end and another arm end wherein the lever means comprises at least two levers interconnected by resilient means to act in series between the connected arm ends whereby sub-conductor movement causes displacement of the resilient connections and of the resilient means.
