Abstract: A transaction lifecycle monitoring system generates reports indicating the current status of transactions at multiple transaction processing steps. The report is generated from data generated by multiple transaction processing systems. Each transaction processing system may use a different identifier to identify the transaction. The transaction lifecycle monitoring system maintains mappings between different identifiers used by the various processing systems to identify the same transaction. The report may include a timeline with geometric shapes corresponding to processing steps in the transaction's lifecycle. The status of the transaction at each processing step may be indicated by a visual property (e.g., color) of the corresponding geometric shape.
