The temperature probe includes a tip and a temperature sensor within the tip. The temperature probe is sized to extend through the aperture such that the tip of the temperature probe is spaced from the base wall and the sidewall of the baking vessel when the temperature probe is fully inserted into the baking vessel through the aperture.
