  • Publication number: 20220147905
Abstract: A flight deck system for converting a clearance message into sub-tasks for flight crew to execute is provided. The flight deck system comprises a controller configured to: receive the intent of instructions in a clearance message; determine a set of flight-crew executable instructions for performance to meet the intent of the instructions in the clearance message; group the set of instructions as a list of tasks; retrieve aircraft state information from one or more onboard avionics systems; determine context sensitive elements related to the set of instructions in the list of tasks using the retrieved aircraft state information; add the context sensitive elements to the list of tasks; and cause the list of tasks, which includes the set of instructions and the context sensitive elements, to be displayed for flight crew viewing on a display device.

  • Patent number: 11321037
Abstract: A label modification unit may receive a label modification input associated with an image. The label modification unit may process, using an image filtering, the label modification input to convert the image to a bitmap for raster printing the image via a laser printhead. The label modification unit may determine, based on the bitmap, an array of power factors for a light beam that is configured to be emitted by a laser of the laser printhead and raster print the image. The label modification unit may control the laser of the laser printhead in association with raster printing the image on a rewriteable label according to the array of power factors.

  • Patent number: 10565886
Abstract: Systems and methods directed to evaluating potential loss of separation are provided. The method continuously receives a host status data, as well as traffic flight information for neighbor traffic. Responsive to a controller pilot data link communication (CPDLC) message with a flight profile change, the method continues by processing the host aircraft status data and the traffic flight information, to (i) construct a modified host flight path based on incorporating the host profile change without delay, and (ii) construct a neighbor aircraft trajectory for a neighbor aircraft. The method processes the modified host flight path and the neighbor aircraft trajectory with loss of separation (LOS) rules, to identify a potential loss of separation (LOS) event. Responsive to identifying the potential LOS event, the method continues by annunciating information describing the potential LOS and its location.

  • Patent number: 7394009
Abstract: A resilient washer design having an annulus body and a concentric sleeve extending from the annulus with a plurality of ribs extending from the sleeve. The washer may have an opposing sleeve extending from the opposite side of the annulus with a second plurality of ribs in staggered location to the first set of ribs. This staggered position allows the annulus to flex between the ribs on opposing sides and resist compression of the washer when pressure is applied axially.
