Publication number: 20240017959Abstract: A cord storage device for winding and storing a cord is provided. The storage device has a main body, a first pivot arm and a second pivot arm. The main body has a bore extending therethrough from the first end to the second end, and a longitudinal slit adjacent the bore to provide access to the bore for inserting the cord. The first pivot arm is pivotally connected to the main body adjacent the first end and the second pivot arm is pivotally connected to the main body adjacent the second end. The pivot arms pivot between a first stop position generally linear with the main body and a second stop position at an angle to the main body. The first and second pivot arms pivot away from the main body in opposite directions.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 17, 2023Publication date: January 18, 2024Inventor: Thomas K. Schlegel

Patent number: 8844960Abstract: A foldable tricycle that transitions between a use orientation, and a transport or storage orientation. The tricycle has a frame including a first end and a second end of the frame, a fork rotatably connected adjacent the first end of the frame, a front wheel rotatably connected to the fork, and a handlebar assembly coupled to the fork to allow for steering of the fork. The tricycle also has first and second rear wheels adjacent the second end of the frame in the use position. The rear wheels are positioned a first distance from a longitudinal axis of the frame in the use position. The first and second wheels can be transitioned to a storage position adjacent the first end of the frame and at a second distance from the longitudinal axis of the frame in the storage position, wherein the first distance from the frame is greater than the second distance from the frame. The tricycle may also have a folding assembly pivotably coupled to the second end of the frame at a first pivot location.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2013Date of Patent: September 30, 2014Assignee: Radio Flyer Inc.Inventors: Matthew Edward Young, Randall Alan Sandlin, Ross Elliot Bartels, Thomas K.
