    Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and kits which are useful for sequencing polypeptides. The methods involve derivatization of the N-terminus of the polypeptide or peptides thereof. The methods also involve derivatization of the epsilon amino group of the side-chain of the lysine containing polypeptide or peptides thereof. Mass spectral analysis of one or more of the resulting derivatized analytes provides spectra which are readily interpreted through the use of techniques well-known to the ordinarily skilled artisan. The present disclosure also describes kits which enhance convenient performance of the methods.

    Abstract: Novel textile finishing compositions for finishing textile articles are provided via the present invention. The textile finishing compositions disclosed herein comprise a cross-linking agent and a catalytic amount of an esterification agent. The cross-linking agents employed herein are selected from a number of phosphorous containing materials derived from maleic acid. Also provided via the present invention are methods for applying the aforementioned finishing compositions to textile articles.

    Abstract: A system and method combined with a pickup truck bed. The bed is structurally divided into upper and lower layers to optimize the transport of tools and other materials. A lower slide-out drawer, which runs substantially the length of the pickup truck bed, is provided so that tools may be easily accessed. An upper layer may then be efficiently used for cargo or other materials.
