  • Patent number: 11089101
Abstract: A media content management device includes one or more memory devices storing instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform steps of a method for providing management of media content. The device may receive media content from a data source and determine a set of media operations that can be performed by the device on a locally stored copy of the media content on the storage means or by a cloud storage system on a remotely stored copy. Based on whether the cloud storage system is reachable, a first media operation may be performed on the remotely stored copy of the media content or on the locally stored copy of the media content. The device may open a communication path with a user device and transmit a portion of the media content to the user device before uploading to the cloud storage system is complete.

  • Patent number: 10108424
Abstract: The disclosure provides a micro-processing system operable in a hardware decoder mode and in a translation mode. In the hardware decoder mode, the hardware decoder receives and decodes non-native ISA instructions into native instructions for execution in a processing pipeline. In the translation mode, native translations of non-native ISA instructions are executed in the processing pipeline without using the hardware decoder. The system includes a code portion profile stored in hardware that changes dynamically in response to use of the hardware decoder to execute portions of non-native ISA code. The code portion profile is then used to dynamically form new native translations executable in the translation mode.

  • Publication number: 20090226280
Abstract: A screw includes a transition region (12) located between the screw head and the screw stem and having its circumference formed of from three to ten truncated cones (21, 22, 23) following each other in an axial direction and surface lines of which have different inclination angles (?, ?, ?) toward the axis (A) which diminish from the head (14) in direction of the tip (13), with a first inclination angle (?) of the surface line of a truncated cone (21) located closest to the head (14) amounting to from 40° to 50°.

  • Patent number: 6042146
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for filling a restraint device, in particular an impact cushion (airbag) for the protection of the occupants of a motor vehicle, with the following features. The restraint device is filled by an inert gas or gas mixture stored in a pressure container; the pressure container has an outlet opening which is closed by a burstable membrane; a module for opening the membrane is associated with the outlet opening; the module has an ignition unit; the igniter case is surrounded by a toroidal propellant chamber; for the ignition of the propellant stored in the propellant chamber, the igniter case has, in addition to axial nozzles, further nozzles directed radially outwards and finally a flow control is provided which directs the hot gas, produced by the propellant, onto the membrane.
