  • Publication number: 20240148996
Abstract: A speech valve for placing and fitting on a tracheostomy cannula, having a throughflow body enclosing a throughflow channel which on one side at one end has a connection for joining to a proximal end of the tracheostomy cannula, a one-way valve located at an end of the throughflow body opposite the connection, and, at a distance along the throughflow channel between the connection and the one-way valve, a valve opening is located which is closable by an overpressure valve. The overpressure valve arrangement has at least one elastically deformable valve flap which, in a first state covers the valve opening provided between the connection structure and the one-way valve on the throughflow body and, at a predefinable overpressure occurring inside the throughflow channel converts, by an overpressure-driven elastic deformation of the valve flap, to a second state, in which it at least partially exposes the valve opening.

  • Patent number: 11914029
Abstract: A reconfigurable GPR device for acquiring radar data about a medium includes a radar antenna with a first polarization, a processor unit connected to the antenna, and a casing around the antenna and the processor unit. Further the device includes at least one of a wheel assembly and a direction-determining unit. If present, the wheel assembly includes a holder, a wheel and a wheel rotation sensor. The wheel rotation sensor is connected to the processor unit, and an axis of the wheel is pivotal relative to the first polarization. If present, the direction-determining unit is connected to the processor unit and adapted to determine directional information. The directional information is descriptive of an angle between a direction of movement of the device and the first polarization.

  • Publication number: 20230291097
Abstract: A ground-penetrating radar device comprises a frame, a radar antenna, and an antenna assembly, wherein the antenna is part of the antenna assembly. Further the GPR device comprises a mount for adaptively mounting the antenna assembly to the frame and a ground support for supporting the frame on the ground. In an operational state, the mount prevents a horizontal displacement of the antenna assembly relative to the frame in two horizontal directions. In the operational state, the mount further allows a vertical displacement of the antenna assembly relative to the frame and a tilting of the antenna assembly relative to the frame.

  • Patent number: 7438032
Abstract: The invention relates to an internal combustion engine comprising an inlet tract, leading to the inlet to a cylinder where a gas inlet valve is arranged. A valve drive for the gas inlet valve is provided, by means of which the valve stroke of the gas inlet may be adjusted using an actuator element, which permits differing cams to operate the gas inlet valve. An inductive actuator drive is arranged on the actuator element in which a voltage is induced during a switching process. A first unit is embodied for recognition of whether a switching of the valve stroke has occurred by means of the voltage induced in the inductive actuator drive which is characteristic of the switching process. A second unit is embodied for the control of at least one further actuator body depending on whether a switching of the valve is recognized in the first switching unit.
