  • Publication number: 20250101419
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for identifying splice switching oligonucleotides (SSOs) able to modulate expression of a target protein in a cell by promoting incorporation of a pseudoexon into the mature mRNA upon binding to the pre-mRNA in the region +9 to +39 downstream to the 5? splice site of said pseudoexon. The invention also relates to SSOs obtained by said method and uses thereof. In particular, the present invention relates to allele specific splice switching oligonucleotides (SSOs).

  • Patent number: 11047434
Abstract: The present disclosure sets forth a one-way clutch. The one-way clutch can function with one or no races as opposed to conventional prior art one-way clutches. In so doing, the overall size and weight requirements of the one-way clutch are drastically reduced, which in turn drastically reduces the overall size and weight requirements of the transmission and vehicle employing the transmission as well. The present disclosure also provides a one-way clutch having an outer race provided by axially spaced plates. An inner race is rotatably mounted with respect to one of the plates and the inner race has a ratchet surface. Ratchet pawls are pivotably mounted with respect to the plates and have unidirectional engagement with the ratchet surface of the inner race. In addition to reducing material and labor production costs, such lessened size and weight penalties translate into higher transmission efficiency and better vehicle fuel economy.

  • Patent number: 10210490
Abstract: Various aspects of a method and system for processing a monetary transaction are disclosed herein. The method includes registration, at a server, of a first virtual currency instrument that corresponds to a first account and one or more other virtual currency instruments that corresponds to one or more other accounts. The registered first virtual currency instrument is associated with a first value. The method further includes reception, at the server, of a redemption request of the registered first virtual currency instrument to process the monetary transaction. • Patent number: 9051987
Abstract: Wear bands for heavy duty struts are disclosed. The wear bands include multiple layers such as a base metal layer sandwiched between an outer layer and an intermediate layer along with a solid lubricant layer disposed opposite the intermediate layer from the base metal layer. The outer layer engages an interior surface of the strut housing, which slidably accommodates a rod. The solid lubricant layer, which is the innermost layer, engages an outer surface of the rod so that the wear band is sandwiched between the rod and the housing and provides a solid lubricant layer for engaging the sliding rod.
