  • Publication number: 20250382168
Abstract: The invention relates to, among other things, a method for filling and closing containers. At least an upper portion of a container (B) is positioned in a treatment chamber. The container is filled with a carbonated filling material via a filling member up to a gas volume in a head space of the container. The filling member is removed from the container mouth after filling, wherein a pressure in the treatment chamber is greater than a saturation pressure of the carbonated filling material. The pressure in the treatment chamber is reduced below the saturation pressure of the carbonated filling material, thereby causing foaming of the carbonated filling material in the head space of the filled container, which forces the gas volume out of the head space. The container is closed via a closing member.

  • Publication number: 20230368585
Abstract: Data collection in a vehicle is used for purposes of creating training data for artificial intelligence or machine learning algorithms for use in vehicles. The collected data is transmitted from the vehicle to a data warehouse by way of a remote system. A method comprises a step of collecting sensor data from one or more vehicle sensor units. The collected sensor is evaluated based on a set of criteria. Subsequently, one or more data logs are created based on the collected sensor data. In a further step, the one or more data logs are pushed to a remote system via a data connection.

  • Patent number: 9793654
Abstract: The device allows simple ground contacting of the shielding of a coaxial line, in particular a parallel ground contacting. For this purpose the connection holder has a housing for receiving preferably multiple coaxial lines which are fed through the housing in a parallel manner. A ground contacting strip lies in the housing, and the shieldings of the coaxial lines, which are stripped in a contact region, are placed against the ground contacting strip and clamped thereagainst.

  • Patent number: 9439206
Abstract: A method is provided for controlling measurements in a wireless telecommunications terminal. In a Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless communication system, the network instructs a UE to measure the received power and quality of the reference signals of the serving cell as well as of neighbor cells. The object of improving the system power consumption of user equipment (UE) that has to perform such measurements is solved by distributing the measurement functionality between RRC and PHY layers such that the RRC layer is enabled to rest in a power save mode unless results of the measurements have to be reported to the network, and to be only active for a minimum to ensure that the UE still behaves standard compliant to the network.

  • Patent number: 9107163
Abstract: A method is provided for controlling Discontinuous Reception (DRX) mode in telecommunication user equipment (UE), with the object to improve system power consumption of a UE of a wireless communication system that is running the DRX mode in RRC_CONNECTED state. In an LTE communication system, DRX functionality is applied to the Medium Access Control (MAC) layer to discontinue monitoring the Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) for certain periods in order to reduce power consumption of the UE. Typical physical UE implementations have the stack controller and the Physical Layer (PHY) running on several hardware blocks that can enter power saving modes independently. The method comprises a partitioning of the functionality between stack controller and PHY layer that allows the stack controller entity to be active at a minimum while ensuring that the UE still behaves standard compliant to the network.

  • Patent number: 6374175
Abstract: A vehicle navigation system includes a message transmitter/receiver capable of holding a dialog with a central database under the control of a processor to request and obtain information signals. Messages are received in the form of a cession of reference numbers, and the processor searches its local database for intelligible data corresponding to each reference number. Since the local database contains a limited capacity, for certain reference numbers the corresponding intelligible data will not be in the memory. The processor then begins a dialog by means of the transmitter/receiver, between itself and a central database, so as to obtain the lacking data that corresponds to a received reference number.
