For improved resistance to cracking and growth of cracks with good adhesion and good mechanical and dynamic properties, the high-dispersibility silica has a CTAB number to ASTM D 3765 of more than 130 m2/g.

The key conflict between tear propagation resistance, stiffness and heat build-up is solved by virtue of the carbon black being a nanostructured carbon black with a rough surface.
