Patent number: 9090438Abstract: A locking and bolting unit for sections telescoping out of a basic element, in particular sections of a telescoping boom of a mobile crane. The invention involves a locking and bolting unit for sections telescoping out of a basic element, in particular sections of a telescoping boom of a mobile crane, comprising two safety bolts (3) arranged displaceably relative to each other, and an interlocking bolt (5) interacting with a grasper (4). Moreover, the safety bolts (3) and an extension of the grasper (4) constructed as a piston rod (5) are positioned together in a lower housing section vertically displaceable in relation to each other and the piston (6) for the piston rod (5) of the grasper (4) is located in an upper housing part (2) placed on a lower housing part (1).Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 2010Date of Patent: July 28, 2015Assignee: Terex Cranes Germany GmbHInventor: Thomas Krebs

Patent number: 8230383Abstract: A description is given of a method for the computer-aided construction of flexible printed circuit boards that are arranged in a housing (10) of a device. The method provides a 3D model for determining the fixed points (1 to 4) of the printed circuit board, such as fastening points and connecting points, and a 2D model based on a development of a skeleton model (20) of the printed circuit board, for creating a printed circuit board design (40) comprising a printed circuit board contour and a printed circuit board layout. The two development environments are uniquely assigned to one another.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2008Date of Patent: July 24, 2012Inventor: Thomas Krebs

Patent number: 8215503Abstract: A crane having a telescoping boom whose sections, are arranged in a base boom that can telescope individually, in and out, after disengaging locking pin connections that are secured in the respective moved out or moved in positions by locking pins. A guide profile head is arranged at an end remote of the articulation of the safety locking unit to the inner end of the base boom. To lengthen the boom without substantially changing the telescopic system itself, the guide profile head is detachably fastened to the safety locking unit. An additional guide frame, whose length is dimensioned corresponding to the length of the telescoping boom that has been expanded by additional sections inserted in the telescoping boom, is mounted in place of the guide profile head, and that a guide profile head can be arranged at the free end of the guide frame.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2008Date of Patent: July 10, 2012Assignee: Terex-Demag GmbHInventors: Jürgen Appel, Thomas Krebs, Achim Schütz

Patent number: 7926700Abstract: According to the invention, a resin-free solder paste made from a metal powder, particularly soft solder and a gel, is prepared, wherein the gel according to the invention leaves no residue on the metal surface during the remelting of the metal powder. The gel according to the invention is based on a mixture that is stable during storage and that comprises carboxylic acid(s), amine(s), and solvent(s). Important uses are the application of soft solder pastes on power-modules, die-attach, chip-on-board, SiP (System-in-Package), for wafer-bumping, particularly on UBM's (Under-Bump-Metallization), and SMT (Surface Mounted Technology), particularly coated circuits. With the use of resin-free soft solder pastes according to the invention, cleaning is eliminated before a protective coating process after the soldering of an electrical connection, and the formation of pores in solder bumps deposited on UBM's is reduced to less than 20 vol. %.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 2006Date of Patent: April 19, 2011Assignee: W.C. Heraeus GmbHInventors: Wolfgang Schmitt, Christian Loosz, Frank Breer, Jurgen Hornung, Thomas Krebs, Joerg Trodler

Patent number: 6189712Abstract: A crane includes a telescopic jib having telescopic jib sections and a base jib. The telescopic sections are arranged so that they can be axially moved into and out of the base jib individually. Locking pins are used hold the telescopic sections in place once they are in the required position. A hydraulic piston-cylinder unit arranged in the telescopic jib can push or pull individual jib sections when the respective locking bolts are removed. The movable portion of the piston-cylinder unit has two securing and locking units located at opposing ends of the movable portion. To move the jib section, one of the securing and locking units is connected to the jib section to be moved and the movement of the movable portions pushed or pulls the telescopic section. Once the jib section is moved to a desired position, the locking pin is reinserted to hold the position of the jib section. Since there are two securing and locking units, the piston-cylinder unit is approximately half the length of the telescopic section.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 1999Date of Patent: February 20, 2001Assignee: Mannesmann AGInventors: Klaus Conrad, Thomas Krebs, Michael Irsch, Jens Fery

Patent number: 6098824Abstract: A telescopic boom section for a mobile crane including an upper inverted U-shaped longitudinal section and a lower convexo-concave longitudinal section. The upper section and the lower section are welded to each other along the seams formed by the longitudinal edges of the upper and the lower sections such that the concave surface of the lower section and the U-shaped wall of the upper section defines a cavity therewithin. The lower section includes a plurality of arcuate segments disposed sequentially across the concave surface and which are formed by a cold roll die.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 1998Date of Patent: August 8, 2000Assignee: Mannesmann AGInventors: Thomas Krebs, Michael Irsch, Karl-Heinz Rube
