  • Publication number: 20090299260
Abstract: The present invention relates to a PVC-free tube (100) for medical purposes comprising three layers (101, 102, 103) arranged one above another, wherein each of these layers contains a polyolefin, and wherein the inner layer (102) also contains at least 60% of a thermoplastic elastomer. The present invention further relates to a tube system comprising several tubes according to the invention, which are connected via connectors. The tube according to the invention makes it possible for the conveyance rate loss, for example in an extracorporeal blood circulation, to be less than 15%, preferably less than 10%.

  • Patent number: 6582341
Abstract: In a method for magnifying torque during driveaway of a motor vehicle using a clutch, the driver-selected torque is dynamically magnified in time, and the enhancement component then is reduced down to 0 at increasing vehicle speed as a function of the latter. The driveaway behavior of a vehicle may be perceptibly improved, and an unintended shutoff of the internal combustion engine may be largely prevented when the accelerator pedal is operated too weakly or the clutch is engaged too fast.

  • Patent number: 6363910
Abstract: Engine speed and/or vehicle velocity limitation apparatus of engine-driven motor vehicles, wherein a controller defines, as a function of the difference between an actual speed value or actual velocity value as controlled variable, on the one hand, and a speed limit value or velocity limit value or a speed limit function or velocity limit function, on the other hand, a torque setpoint for the engine of the motor vehicle as the manipulated variable. As a result, the combustion processes occur at the stoichiometric ratio even during the limiting operation, and the elimination of torque surges results in a considerable increase in drivability for the driver.

  • Patent number: 6017598
Abstract: The invention concerns a multilayer polymer film and a multichamber bag, whose bag chambers are formed by seams in the outer border zone and by at least one seam in the chamber separation zone, whereby the seams are formed from the polymer materials facing the chambers. The polymer materials facing the chambers are inseparably sealed together in the outer border zone and sealed together in the chamber separation zone such that the seam is separable with a force which lies in the range from 5 to 20 N. The different strength of the bond from the sealing process is obtained by varying sealing temperatures.

  • Patent number: 5783269
Abstract: Non-PVC multi-layer film (1) containing an outer layer (2), a supporting layer (4) together with at least one interposed central layer (3), characterized in that the outer (2) and supporting (4) layers contain polymers having Vicat softening temperatures of above approximately 121.degree. C. and that at least one central layer (3) contains polymers having softening temperatures of below approximately 70.degree. C. The non-PVC multi-layer film (1) is particularly suitable for the production of medical bags, in particular multi-chamber bags, as the materials of the individual layers (2-4) are selected in such a manner that the film is transparent and flexible, but in particular also heat-sterilizable, fusible and heat sealable. The film is moreover completely recyclable.
