  • Patent number: 9547084
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of classifying one or several watercraft using the sound waves emitted or transmitted by these vehicles. The sound waves are thereby received using an array of underwater sound sensors of a sonar receiving system and processed into received signals. At least one amplitude spectrum is generated from these received signals consisting of one or more sets of frequency lines and any individual lines, from which the characteristic vehicle parameters are automatically determined in a frequency line pattern detection module or determined manually. Subsequently, the vehicle characteristic parameters are compared with the database parameters, where this comparison is evaluated with a matching factor. Considering the matching factor, one or several watercraft are determined as the result of the classification. In addition, the invention relates to a corresponding device for carrying out the process.

  • Patent number: 8584715
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for monitoring the filling of a capsule with a medicament, to a corresponding filling method, to the associated apparatuses, and to a computer program for controlling the method and the apparatus. In the monitoring method, after at least part of the capsule has been filled with a predefined filling mass of a predefined closed contour of the medicament, at least the filling mass in the part of the capsule after the filling operation is recorded using digital imaging in a first step, the contour of the filling mass in the part of the capsule is determined from the digital imaging recording in a second step, and the contour is analysed in a third step in order to assess the filling operation in comparison with the predefined contour. The invention provides for external influences on the image properties to be compensated for by controlling the optical system.

  • Publication number: 20050240891
Abstract: A method of switching a power supply of at least one voltage domain of a semiconductor circuit uses at least one microswitch, which is designed in standard cell design, to switch the power supply, so that the standard cell design method can be automated. Multiple microswitches can be disposed, evenly distributed, over those areas of the semiconductor circuit in which there is a voltage domain of which the power supply is to be switched. The microswitches of a voltage domain are defined by being switched by the same control signal. Abstract: The invention relates to a method of producing color pastes, in which a component comprising colorant particles is dispersed in a binder. In the method of the invention the dispersing operation is controlled by beaming excitational light of a defined wavelength range into a mixture of the component comprising colorant particles and the binder, detecting the light transmitted, reflected and/or scattered by the mixture and determining a sample spectrum, evaluating the sample spectrum and hence determining parameters of the color paste, and monitoring changes in the sample spectrum over time and terminating the dispersing operation when predetermined target parameters are attained.
