    Abstract: The present invention features interferon-free therapies for the treatment of HCV. Preferably, the treatment is over a shorter duration of treatment, such as no more than 12 weeks. In one aspect, the treatment comprises administering at least two direct acting antiviral agents to a subject with HCV infection, wherein the treatment lasts for 12 weeks and does not include administration of either interferon or ribavirin, and said at least two direct acting antiviral agents comprise (a) Compound 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and (b) Compound 2 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

    Abstract: A method of operating a differential mobility spectrometer (DMS) includes providing a heater disposed proximate a ceramic body of a DMS cell. A first control voltage is applied to the heater. A first threshold is detected by a first sensor disposed within a curtain plate that substantially surrounds the DMS cell. A second control voltage is applied to the heater based at least in part on the detected first threshold. During application of the second control voltage, a mass spectrometry analysis of a gas within the DMS cell is performed.

    Abstract: An adjustable child-positioning device includes an elongated cushion which is removably positioned in a high-chair. A rotatable rod mounted longitudinally through the cushion has an adjustment member affixed on each projecting end. The adjustment member includes a pair of parallel and spaced-apart pins affixed to a base, the pins adapted to straddle one of the frame members of high-chair. By rotating the adjustment member or reversing the ends of the cushion in the chain, the cushion may be located at a variety of distances from the front edge of the seat of the high-chair.
