  • Patent number: 9582450
Abstract: A rack with a mounting bay to accommodate servers, wherein 1) the mounting bay defines two opposing internal areas disposed parallel to an insertion direction of the servers and divided into a multiplicity of slots, 2) one or more data lines for data connection of servers are configured in the rack, 3) the data lines include optical data lines, and 4) on at least one of the two internal areas of the mounting bay, an end section of a data line with a data interface is disposed on each slot such that a contactless optical data connection to a further data interface on a corresponding server is enabled.

  • Publication number: 20160178170
Abstract: A flexible support includes a support member, two steel strips, and two fixing elements. The support member includes a plurality of support elements disposed together. The adjacent support elements are connected by a connection element to cascade the support elements. Two clamp structures are respectively extended from two sides of each support element. Two steel strips are respectively clamped by the clamp structures of the two sides of the support elements. Two steel strips have a spacing therebetween. Two fixing elements are respectively fixed to two terminals of the spacing. A bendable lamp device structure using the flexible support is also disclosed. The lamp cap is stably fastened to the flexible support. The user may bend the support to acquire light sources of differ angles with the lamp cap kept at the same level or direction.

  • Patent number: 8421277
Abstract: An electronic device (1), which can assume an operating state and at least one energy-saving state, with a power supply (7) that can be connected to a mains voltage, and an evaluation unit (4), which can control the electronic device (1) from the operating state into the energy-saving state and vice versa, wherein the evaluation unit (4) is connected to the power supply (7) in such a way that the power supply (7) can be turned off by the evaluation unit (4) for assuming the energy-saving state and can be turned on again for assuming the operating state, and the evaluation unit (4) can be supplied, at least in the turned-off state of the power supply (7), with energy from another electronic device, which is connected via a standard interface to the electronic device, and/or with energy from a capacitor and/or with energy from an accumulator and/or with energy from a solar cell.

  • Publication number: 20100232799
Abstract: A device that can be used in an optical data network includes a receiver and a data port. The receiver receives data transmitted wirelessly by means of modulated light from a transmitter. During operation, the receiver is aligned to the transmitter as a function of a signal strength measured by the receiver. The data port can be connected to a computer system.
