    Abstract: A method and system for examining tissue are provided in which the tissue is maintained in a position so that it may be insonified with a plurality of pulsed spherical or cylindrical acoustic waves. The insonifying acoustic waves are scattered by the tissue so that scattered acoustic radiation including a mix of reflected and transmitted acoustic waves is received. A representation of a portion of the tissue is then derived from the received scattered acoustic radiation.

    Abstract: Motorcycle footrest brackets are described and that are adapted to be secured on opposite sides of a motorcycle having a frame and passenger footrest mounting holes on opposed sides of the frame. Each of the brackets includes a rigid base plate including a bottom end and an upward end. A bolt is mountable to each base plate at the bottom end and is configured for attachment to one of the passenger footrest mounting holes on the motorcycle. A pin on each of the base plates extends to an inward end and is positioned on the base plate and configured to abut with a portion of the motorcycle frame to prevent rotation of the base plate about the bolt. A footrest mount on each rigid base plate adjacent its upward end is configured to mount a conventional motorcycle footrest.

    Abstract: In a mining scheme, a mobile continuous haulage system follows a miner and transports material onto a floor mounted beltway. The beltway supports a roadway on which the haulage system is carried. The roadway has wheels captured in outboard rails on the beltway and lift cylinders on the roadway when lowered, raise the beltway off the floor so that the beltway can be advanced for a belt move to facilitate adding additional belt sections.

    Abstract: A holster for suspending a folding knife from a wearer's belt is of elongated C-shaped form. The holster has end portions for gripping the ends of the knife, a spine portion against which the knife blade can be folded when inserting the knife in the holster, and a blade catch which fits between the blade and the knife body. When the knife body is pulled from the holster the catch presses against the blade thereby unfolding the knife. The knife fits in the holster with the blade pointing down, and the holster has an opening aiding discharge of foreign material therefrom. A spring detent in one end portion of the holster allows knives of somewhat different length to be accommodated.
