  • Patent number: 11377128
Abstract: A vehicle door leaf frame, in particular a rail vehicle door leaf frame, preferably for an inwardly opening vehicle door leaf for an entry door. The vehicle door leaf frame has a plurality of, in particular precisely four, hollow frame profiles constituting the actual vehicle door leaf frame. The hollow frame profiles are produced from a plurality of, in particular precisely two, different hollow profiles. In an alternative embodiment, a vehicle door leaf, in particular a rail vehicle door leaf, preferably an inwardly opening vehicle door leaf for an entry door, has a vehicle door leaf frame and is itself pressure-tight and/or water-tight.

Date of Patent: July 5, 2022
    Assignee: Siemens Mobility GmbH
Inventors: Thomas Hengstenberg, Herbert Kammerloher, Thomas Langenbacher, Thomas Wimberger
  • Patent number: 10981582
Abstract: A rail vehicle, in particular a locomotive, includes a railcar body having a head end provided with a front nose. The railcar body has an interface, in the region of the head end, which is configured and provided for fastening and connecting differently shaped front noses forming a set of variations. A front nose selected from the set of variations is thereby fastened to the interface by a welded connection. The rail vehicle therefore permits more flexibility in the shaping of the head end of the railcar body.

Date of Patent: April 20, 2021
    Assignee: Siemens Mobility GmbH

  • Publication number: 20150197198
Abstract: A vehicle which can be accessed in a comfortable manner includes an entry door and an entry ladder which is disposed on the vehicle below the entry door and which can be elongated, extended or lengthened at the side of the ladder facing away from the entry door. This is achieved by a drive which converts the entry ladder from a retracted position into an extended position.

  • Patent number: 5036772
Abstract: A suspension conveyor system for automatically conveying suspended conveyor carriages having a plurality of first rails disposed with their free ends in mutual transverse alignment along at least one transfer lane and at least one second rail disposed parallel with the transfer lane. A pallet travels on the second rail along the transfer lane and has at least one pallet rail, the path of travel of the pallet permitting a free end of the pallet rail to be selectively aligned with a free end of a first rail for the transfer of a conveyor carriage between the rails. A trolley is mounted for movement along the transfer lane independent of the pallet and control apparatus are provided for controlling movement of the trolley. A coupling device automatically couples and uncouples the trolley with the pallet to permit the trolley to travel together with the pallet or independently of it.
