  • Publication number: 20110303167
Abstract: An internal combustion engine, having at least two cylinder banks, each cylinder bank having two outer high pressure cylinders and a central low pressure cylinder, reciprocating pistons of the cylinders being coupled via connecting rods to crankpin journals of a crankshaft, valves of the cylinders to be actuated via camshafts which can be driven from the crankshaft, crankpin journals on which the connecting rods of the high pressure cylinders act, lying in a common plane, crankpin journals on which the connecting rods of the low pressure cylinders act, being offset with respect to said plane, and the crankpin journal for the connecting rod of the low pressure cylinder of a first cylinder bank being offset with respect to the crankpin journal for the connecting rod of the low pressure cylinder of a second cylinder bank.

  • Publication number: 20070039475
Abstract: A device for defoaming and/or deaeration of oil in the lubricant system of an internal combustion engine in which the lubricant oil flowing back into an oil pan is conveyable by an oil suction pump into a separate oil tank. The device has an oil separator, preferably mounted on the oil tank. The oil separator has a deaeration space (10) which accommodates a wire mesh body (20).

  • Patent number: 7021692
Abstract: A locking device with a holding device for a cover of a motor vehicle trunk is movable in a longitudinal guide and can be held in form-closed manner there by a movable projection. The projection is movable by an operating device and is rotatable about a fulcrum. The operating device includes an electromotive drive and a gear, which can be a non-self-locking gear.

  • Publication number: 20040000797
Abstract: A locking device with a holding device for a cover of a motor vehicle trunk is movable in a longitudinal guide and can be held in form-closed manner there by a movable projection. The projection is movable by operating means and is e.g. rotatable about a fulcrum. The operating means comprise an electromotive drive and a gear, which can be a non-self-locking gear.

  • Publication number: 20030141025
Abstract: A window shade control for window shades (17, 28) of motor vehicles contains a control arrangement (23, 71). The control arrangement (23, 71) receives signals from a switch (41, 42), which is to be manually operated by the driver, or vehicle occupant, in order to be able to arbitrarily retract or extend the window shade (17, 18).

  • Patent number: 6486631
Abstract: A drive system for a covering device, which can be rolled up or folded, for motor vehicles is equipped with a control device. The control device has a current sensor for detecting the current applied to an electric motor of the drive system in the course of moving the covering device. The control system measures a current parameter at the start of the movement of the covering device and switches off the current to the motor as soon as switch-off criteria derived from the current values measured at the start of the movement have been reached.

  • Patent number: 6416103
Abstract: A protective device for the interior of a motor vehicle has a protective structure which has a planar shape in a protective position and which is seated for movement by a drive mechanism between at least two positions. The protective structure is connected with at least one guide element that can be entrained by at least one coupling member with transfer structure to the drive mechanism. The at least one coupling member is provided with at least one picking-up element that acts in transverse direction to the direction of movement of the coupling member and that entrains, releases or picks up the guide element with limited entraining force during movement of the coupling member. The protective device is usable for cargo area coverings, cargo area dividers and sun-protection roller blinds.
