  • Publication number: 20240305502
Abstract: As a part of a networking system, a Smart Network Interface Card (NIC)/Data Processing Unit (DPU) translation agent can be implemented by a device within a Smart NIC/DPU. The Smart NIC/DPU translation agent translates operation requests associated with a vendor-neutral API method into a vendor-specific API method, e.g., to communicate with vendor-specific firmware. The agent comprises an orchestration unit for detecting an operation request from an external entity having vendor-neutral API; and translating the operation request based upon a fabric data model; a configuration service unit for generating management commands based on the modified operation request; and a proxy service unit for receiving and translating the configuration commands to communicate with vendor-specific firmware using the vendor-specific API method.

  • Publication number: 20240286702
Abstract: In an embodiment, a personal mobility device is disclosed. The personal mobility device comprises a wheel, a stem and a base. The stem is configured to fold relative to the base to transition the personal mobility device between an open configuration and a folded configuration. The personal mobility device further comprises an integrated carrying mechanism attached to the personal mobility device. The integrated carrying mechanism comprises a flexible material that is configured for use by a user to carry the personal mobility device when in the folded configuration.

  • Publication number: 20060005850
Abstract: In a system for coating human skin, a chemical composition, such as a cosmetic or medical formulation, is uniformly coated over the entire body or selected parts of the body of the person being coated. The system includes atomization of the coating composition, containment of the atomized spray, and residual recovery which together yield a novel method for applying chemical compositions.

  • Patent number: 6318593
Abstract: A simple and inexpensive container is constructed to dispense the contents of the container in predetermined, controlled amounts. Preferably, the container includes a reservoir that is adapted to hold a predetermined amount of material. The reservoir includes an opening through which the predetermined amount of material enters the reservoir. A flow tube is connected with the reservoir and communicates with a pour spout through which the material being dispensed exits the container. When the container is positioned upright, the predetermined amount of material fills the reservoir. When the container is turned upside down to dispense material from the container, only the material in the reservoir is able to flow into the flow tube and be dispensed from the container through the pour spout. The container is preferably formed from a two-dimensional blank, which is folded and secured to form the container. A method of forming the two-dimensional blank into the container is also disclosed.
