  • Patent number: 12227274
Abstract: A search and rescue drone system includes a buoyant body member, a frame attached to the buoyant body member for carrying a motor and propeller, and an electronic array including a camera, GPS, an EPIRB radio distress beacon, and a transmitter/receiver for remote control flying the drone and communicating with an operator. A laser guidance system may provide coordinates for landing near a swimmer in distress. The search and rescue drone may also be programmed to simply fly to the location of an electronic wearable device, like a bracelet, that is worn by a man overboard. In another embodiment, the search and rescue drone includes pivoting motor mounts, so that it can take off and land vertically with propellers rotating in a horizontal plane, and then the propellers may pivot to rotate in a vertical plane for propulsion across water similar to a fan boat with rescued people aboard.

  • Publication number: 20250037850
Abstract: A computer system and method for generating non-fungible tokens (NFTs) representing a company asset based on evaluation of company assets (e.g., a hospital). Stored in a database are one or more digital assets (e.g., one or more of settlement rights and insurance claim payment obligations) representative of contractual obligations owed to the company (e.g., settlement rights), which are then analyze to determine one or more assets owed to the company. A valuation value is then determined for the determined one or more assets. NFTs are then generated based on the determined valuation value of the determined one or more assets. Additionally, the generated NFTs may be leveraged as collateral in an underwriting process. Further, analyzed in real-time, is a revenue cycle management of the company for generating a risk-weighted index value indicative of the revenue cycle management.

  • Patent number: 12047251
Abstract: Methods and systems for automatically optimizing power utilization in a network. A method for automatically optimizing power utilization in a network includes obtaining, by a network controller from a database, systems provisioned in the network, wherein a system includes one or more actionable components and wherein the systems and associated one or more actionable components are actional elements, obtaining predictive traffic model statistics for a circuit under evaluation, wherein the circuit transits between at least two systems of the systems in the network, obtaining real-time traffic statistics for the circuit under evaluation; and disabling, by the network controller when the real-time traffic model statistics are within a threshold of the predictive traffic model statistics, one or more actional elements to optimize power utilization while factoring in fate sharing dependencies associated with the one or more actional elements and while maintaining minimum utilization requirements of the network.

The main body member is generally hollow, which allows for ice, drinks, food, and the like to be placed inside of the main body member through an opening or hatch on top. A lid may be removably secured to the opening on top, and preferably includes securing means for maintaining the lid in a closed position, even in rough water. Remotely controlled propulsion means are attached to an underside of the cooler on one end thereof. Other features include an audio receiver with speakers, port and starboard running lights, GPS navigation, submerged spotlights, and video cameras mounted above and below the waterline, all of which may be operated via a remote control device.

  • Publication number: 20240168443
Abstract: A technique is described for customizing a control system (e.g., an operating system) of a computing system for different use types. The different use types are associated with different ways of using the computing system. The technique improves performance of computing functions prioritized at a particular time. For instance, the technique improves performance by reducing the number of interruptions experienced by the computing system when executing prioritized applications. Further, in some implementations, the technique dynamically adapts to changing uses over the course of a single computing session. The technique performs this task by dynamically reassessing the use type that most accurately characterizes the current use of the computing system. The technique operates using a discrete computer program, machine-trained functionality, or some combination thereof. Some implementations of the machine-trained functionality use reinforcement learning.

The polishing layer stack includes a polishing layer that has the polishing surface. A fluid-impermeable layer spans the aperture and the polishing pad. A first adhesive layer of a first adhesive material is in contact with and secures the bottom surface of the polishing layer to the fluid-impermeable layer. The first adhesive layer spans the aperture and the polishing pad. The light-transmitting body is positioned in the aperture and has a lower surface in contact with, is secured to the first adhesive layer, and is spaced apart from a side-wall of the aperture by a gap.
