Abstract: A method for protecting communications from sound leakages, and a corresponding system can be configured to offer a possibility to detect sound leakages and to alert participants in an online conference that information shared in the conference may be overheard by individuals not participating in the conversation but being in the environment of one participant. Thus, the privacy of end-users from sound leakages can be protected by taking advantage of multiple devices in the same physical space.

According to the invention, during a conference, a set of people is considered which want to agree on an idea or a document that is distributed via screen sharing. After having the agreement of all the people in the conference, it is possible to automatically sign the document either independently or using a digital ring signature.

Abstract: A method for identity fraud detection and system agnostic user authentication in one or more social media and communication applications can be configured to provide an enhanced risk identification based on historic data by using an automatic authentication mechanism for a potential malicious user without relying on the system on which a communication is taking place. The authentication mechanism is system agnostic, it may also create synergies with other social media and communication network systems informing them about malicious actions of an account that has been taken over. Embodiments of a system can utilize an embodiment of the method.
