  • Patent number: 11585119
Abstract: A joint lock comprises a lock body that accommodates a combination locking mechanism; and a jointed bar hoop. The combination locking mechanism has a plurality of code rings rotatable about an axis of rotation and a latch that is preloaded along the axis of rotation in the direction of a locked position. The lock body has an introduction opening through which the locking bar of the jointed bar hoop can be introduced into the lock body along an introduction direction that is oriented transversely to the axis of rotation of the code rings, with the locking bar introduced into the lock body being locked to the lock body when the latch is in the locked position and is blocked.

  • Patent number: 11456125
Abstract: A circuit breaker lockout apparatus, in particular to a motor circuit breaker lockout apparatus, includes two half-shell like housing parts, in particular housing halves, and an adjustment element. The two housing parts are assembled to form a housing shell having a rear wall and that are connected to one another via a pivot joint that defines a pivot axis about which the two housing parts are pivotable relative to one another between a release position and a clamping position. The adjustment element is adjustable between a base position and a locked position and that is in particular rotatable about an axis of rotation in order to transfer the two housing parts from the release position to the clamping position.

  • Patent number: 11254344
Abstract: A method for introducing electric conductors into an overmolding of a steering wheel frame is provided. The electric conductors are used for heating and shielding purposes and for sensing contact on a steering wheel. In a first step, at least one cut is introduced into the overmolding using a cutting tool. In a second step, both a first layer of an electric conductor and a second layer of an electric conductor are simultaneously introduced into the cut that has been created. The first layer forms both a heating layer for heating the steering wheel and a guard layer which, together with the second layer acting as a sensor layer, allows the capacitive sensing of hand contact.

  • Publication number: 20060137134
Abstract: A floor nozzle for vacuum cleaners has a first position for vacuuming broad floor surfaces, and a second position for vacuuming narrow floor surfaces. The floor nozzle includes a suction head that has a base area with two broad sides and two narrow sides, and a tilt joint consisting of a channel connector piece molded onto the suction head and a pivotable channel section. A pipe elbow having a curvature of essentially 90° is connected with the channel section and has a connector end for a suction pipe. The channel section is pivoted out in the first position, so that the axis of rotation of the connection between the pipe elbow and the channel section is oriented at a downward slant. In the second position, the movable channel section is pivoted into the channel connector piece so far that the axis of rotation of the connection is oriented horizontally.

  • Publication number: 20050072177
Abstract: A cooling device for cooling a cooled surface includes a manifold having a number of inlet slots for directing fluid into an enclosed volume or chamber, toward the cooled surface. The manifold has a number of exit ports for receiving the fluid from the enclosed volume or chamber after it has impinged upon the cooled surface. The inlet slots and exit ports may be rectangular, or may be otherwise elongated, so as to provide substantially spatially uniform heat removal from the cooled surface. The cooling device may be used for a wide variety of applications, for example for cooling small devices such as integrated circuits or other devices involving electronics.

  • Patent number: 6385811
Abstract: A suction head for floor vacuum cleaners has a unitary plastic housing (1) containing a suction channel (2), and a bottom plate (7) arranged on the underside of the housing and having a suction mouth (13). The suction mouth adjoins a vertically aligned, box-shaped connection element (14) of the suction channel and feeds into a bottom channel (15) of the bottom plate (7). The bottom plate (7) is pivot-mounted both on the connection element (14) of the suction channel and also at the end side on the inner surfaces of the plastic housing (1). For this purpose, the box-shaped connection element (14) contains transverse bridges (17) that define the suction channel laterally and which have bottom edges designed as bearing surfaces (18) rounded in a curved manner. The bottom plate (7) is supported on the curved, rounded support surfaces (18) of the connection element (14), and rotatably interlocked with the wall surfaces of the connection element (14) extending parallel with the transverse bridges.

  • Patent number: 5762271
Abstract: A windshield washing system for a motor vehicle which moves a jet nozzle (1) from an inward rest position to an outward working position by pressure applied to a cleaning liquid. A valve cover (4) of a valve is moved, together with a nozzle support (2) by the pressure of the cleaning liquid and holds a passageway of the nozzle support closed until the valve cover engages a fixed stop (5) and the valve cover of the valve then opens. The stop is on a fixed shaft-shaped holding element (7) which, in the rest position of the jet nozzle, extends into a receiving element (9). The receiving element is inserted into a passageway of the nozzle support and is sealed, by an inner side of the valve cover. When the jet nozzle is in its working position, cleaning liquid flows through a passage space between the receiving element and the nozzle support to the jet nozzle.

  • Patent number: 5605286
Abstract: A nozzle carrier for a windshield washing apparatus has an outer cylinder (1) and a telescoping inner cylinder (2) in the outer cylinder. The inner cylinder has at an end portion thereof a jet nozzle (3) which can be shoved out of the outer cylinder. A first plunger (4) is sealed about its periphery to the outer cylinder and is movable by pressure of washing liquid away from a second plunger (5). In this manner the inner cylinder is shoved out of the outer cylinder. When both cylinders are at their greatest spacing from one another they determine, together with the outer cylinder, a space which serves to receive a particular quantity of washing liquid. Thereafter, the second plunger is urged, by pressure of the washing liquid, toward the first plunger. This causes, after the opening of a valve in series with the jet nozzle, the washing liquid to flow through a passageway (8) of the first plunger toward the jet nozzle.
