  • Patent number: 12756334
Abstract: A method operates an electric drive device having a voltage supply with phase conductors providing multiphase supply voltage, a multiphase electric motor connected to the phase conductors, an electrically actuatable brake acting on the motor and switching between a position blocking the motor in a voltage-free state and an open position releasing the motor in a voltage-supplied state, the brake being solely connected to a subset of the phase conductors, the brake requiring a defined opening period until reaching the open position after switching from voltage-free to voltage-supplied states, and switches independently interrupting the phase conductors. In a starting state, the phase conductors are interrupted. Based on the starting state, only the subset of phase conductors connected to the brake are switched to conduct a current, and after a defined waiting period, the motor is activated by switching remaining phase conductors to conduct a current.

  • Publication number: 20250128005
Abstract: A mouthpiece for providing a free upper airway during procedural sedation, the mouthpiece can include a body having an airway channel extending from a first end of the body to a second end of the body, wherein the first end is an anterior end of the body and the second end is a posterior end of the body. Preferably, a first stop supported by the body can be configurated to control the insertion depth of the body into the oral cavity of a patient, a second stop can be supported by the body, and a thermoplastic element can be supported by the body.

  • Publication number: 20250105616
Abstract: A switching device protects an electrical load against overcurrent. A load current path from a current source to the load is connected through a semiconductor switch. In the on-state of the switch, the current is permitted to flow. In the off-state, the load current is blocked. A control circuit is configured to switch the semiconductor switch in response to a switching signal. The current in the load current path is measured. A controller execute an individual function or a combination of two or more predefined functions depending on an operating mode of the electrical load. The functions compare a current intensity and/or a temporal current profile of the current through the load current path with defined threshold values. The control circuit is driven by the switching signal that depends on one or more results of the executed functions to selectively switch off the semiconductor switch.

  • Patent number: 6310258
Abstract: The invention provides a process for preparing 1,3-diketones by rearrangement of the isomeric enol ester in a tube reactor comprising a heated portion and an unheated insulated portion which can optionally be provided with cooling means. The unheated portion of the reactor has a higher volume to surface ratio than the heated portion of the reactor. The reaction can be carried out adiabatically in the unheated portion of the reactor. The process and apparatus provide higher yields and selectivity to the 1,3-diketones.
