  • Publication number: 20140162738
Abstract: A drive system (1) for a harvesting machine has a drive train (4) connected by a coupling device (5) with a drive motor (6). The drive train (4) has a hydrostatic transmission (10) with a variable displacement pump (11) and a hydraulic motor (12) connected in a closed circuit to the pump (11). The hydraulic motor (12) is connected to a feeder device (2). For quickly stopping the feeder device (2), the pump (11) is set to a displacement of zero by an electronic control system (15) and the feeder device (2) is braked by a pressure protection device (40). For a chopper device (3), the hydraulic motor (12) is cut off by the electronic control system (15). The drive train (4) is isolated from the drive motor (6) by uncoupling the coupling device (5) and the pump (11) is set to the maximum displacement volume.

  • Patent number: 6421902
Abstract: A method of producing and checking a screw connection of parts by a screw under the effect of a predetermined initial tension force. Moreover, a connecting device controls the sequence of process steps automatically. A screw is especially designed for the use together with the connecting device. The effective initial tension force within the screw shaft is measured during production of the connection by a pulling force measuring device, for instance a wire strain gauge, arranged at a screw head pulling device of the connecting device. A predetermined initial tension force can be produced first by pulling on a screw head, and then maintained by tightening the screw so far that the screw head contacts a contact area outside of one of the parts to be connected.

  • Patent number: 6351997
Abstract: A method and a device for checking a screwed connection and to special screws to implement the method. The method is based on the utilization of a special screw with a one-piece cored hole pressing together two components with a prestress force. The method includes determining the original length of the special screw by measuring the length of the cored hole; determining the length of the special screw when stressed by measuring the distance from the head of the screw to the bottom of the bore and comparing the measuring values of the lengths with predetermined data. According to predetermined criteria, it is determined whether sufficient prestress force has been applied or whether it is necessary to further tighten the screw. The device for checking the prestress force includes the special screw and a length measuring device determining the distance from the base surface of the cored hole to the screw head and the distance between the front face of the core of the cored hole to the screw head.

  • Patent number: 6332378
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for producing screw assemblies, which can be preferably used in industrial production assembly processes, in workshops and in installation technology supervision involving high safety standards. The invention also relates to special screws to carry out said method. The invention is characterized in that the actual elongation of the screw is measured during screwing.

  • Patent number: 4903577
Abstract: A system for hydrostatic pressure release of the rocker in the bearing box in an axial piston machine. The pressure-relief system includes slots in the rocker bearing box connected with axial passages through the pistons, pressure pockets in the guide shoes and passageways through the rocker. In order to render the forces in the pressure-relief system essentially constant and speed-independent, the pressure-relief devices of the rocker bearing and four individual slots, two of which are parallel to each other in the region of each of the two bearing surfaces on the rocker and which are connected to the pressure pockets in the guide shoes by the passageways through the rocker.

  • Patent number: 4543876
Abstract: An adjustable axial piston machine in swashplate construction, preferably an axial piston pump, is provided in which the rocker body is supported with a semicylindrical surface by a friction bearing in a hollow semicylindrical surface and pressure pockets loaded with pressure medium are provided for hydrostatic relief of the bearing pressures in the bearing surfaces, in which case in a machine in which each of the two connections that can be loaded with feed pressure, a pressure pocket is provided on each side of the rocker body, where the pressure pocket that lies on the side on which the working pistons loaded with feed pressure also move is loaded with feed pressure.
