  • Patent number: 8963098
Abstract: The present invention relates to an X-ray detector having an X-ray sensor (first X-ray sensor) converting X-radiation directly into electric charge carriers, having signal evaluation electronics electrically connected to the X-ray sensor and preferably formed as integrated circuit(s), having an X-ray absorber formed for protecting the signal evaluation electronics, and having a sensor carrier (first sensor carrier) formed and arranged for positioning the X-ray sensor relative to the X-ray absorber, wherein, viewed in the direction of incidence of the X-radiation, both the signal evaluation electronics are arranged behind the X-ray absorber and in the X-radiation shadow thereof and the X-ray sensor is admittedly likewise positioned by means of the sensor carrier preferably arranged between the X-ray absorber and the signal evaluation electronics at least sectionally behind the X-ray absorber, but outside the X-radiation shadow thereof.

  • Patent number: 7021098
Abstract: In a method and a device for creating a hole on the outer circumference of a hollow profile which is circumferentially closed and under an internal high pressure, before hole-punching, a punch which is integrated in the internal high pressure forming mold such that it can be guided butts against the location of the hole to be created. When it leaves its position of abutment, the punch creates a punched slug there alongside the hole. To make it possible for holes to be punched at virtually any desired location in hollow profiles in the internal high-pressure forming mold in a simple way, it is proposed that the hole-punching takes place by the punch being moved in the guiding bore of the forming mold by the internal high pressure acting together with a driving element, the body axis of which lies approximately at 90° in relation to the hole punch axis and which for its part is driven in a rotary manner and/or translatory manner in the axial direction.

  • Patent number: 6974180
Abstract: A roof frame arrangement of a motor vehicle has a front, a rear and two lateral roof frames, and a supporting device for a motor vehicle tailgate. The supporting device includes a tailgate hinge and at least one gas-filled compression spring. At least the lateral roof frame contains an inner shell and an outer shell connected to the latter. A hollow space is formed between the inner shell and outer shell. In order to provide a roof frame arrangement having increased stiffness, which can be produced in a simple and space-saving manner and with as few manufacturing tolerances as possible and in which a relatively great outlay on leakproofness is not required, it is proposed to form a rear end region of the lateral roof frame as a single-piece, circumferentially closed hollow profile which encloses the hollow space there and forms a receiving housing in which at least one of the hinge and the gas-filled compression spring is fitted.

  • Patent number: 6918628
Abstract: A rear roof frame of a motor vehicle has a tailgate which is fastened to the roof frame and includes an upper shell and a lower shell which is fitted to the latter. For the design of a rear roof frame, which, in spite of the shell-type construction, provides, in a simple manner and lightweight construction, sufficient torsional and flexural stiffness in order to withstand high mechanical stresses, it is proposed to arrange within the shell structure a hollow profile which leads in each case from the transition region to the lateral roof frame and parallel to the longitudinal extent of the structure, and emerges, at least at the end facing away from the lateral roof frame, in a knee which kinks in the front-end direction of the vehicle. The end of the rear roof frame forms a tubular hollow profile of the lateral roof frame, which is connected to the hollow profile of the rear roof frame.
