Publication number: 20210311048Abstract: The invention relates to a method for diagnosis of an autoimmune disease in a subject wherein, presence or absence of an anti-CXC chemokine receptor (CXCR) antibody is detected in a sample from the subject diagnosed, and wherein the presence of an anti-CXCR antibody is indicative of the disease. The invention further relates to the use of (auto)antibodies against the C—X—C chemokine receptor type 3 (CXCR3) as a prognostic marker in subjects with acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), particularly in subjects with high grade acute GVHD. The invention also relates to the use of C—X—C chemokines selected from the group consisting of CXCL4, CXCL9, CXCL10 and CXCL11, preferably CXCL9, as a prognostic marker in subjects with acute GVHD, particularly in subjects with high grade acute GVHD.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 16, 2017Publication date: October 7, 2021Inventors: Harald HEIDECKE, Kai SCHULZE-FORSTER, Thomas LUFT

Patent number: 7025387Abstract: The connection device (101, 201) according to the invention has a locking head (109, 209) that can be locked to an opening (8) of a container wall (3). A clamping device (123, 223) is also provided on the corresponding coupling piece (5), which serves to tighten the head (109, 209) locked to the container wall (3) without a rotational movement against the container wall (3). The clamping device (123, 223) can be designed as a wedge-clamping device (142, 242). The latter permits generation of large clamping forces with small operating forces. The clamping device (142, 242) is preferably secured by a locking device (253), so that vibration-proof connection resistant to temperature changes is achieved during simple assembly.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2002Date of Patent: April 11, 2006Assignee: Eaton Fluid Power GmbHInventors: Harald Twardawski, Thomas Luft, Bernd Halbrock, Michael Markus Huck

Patent number: 7017949Abstract: A flexible corrugated hose fitting, which is particularly provided for high-pressure installations, such as air conditioning installations using CO2 as the refrigerant, has a connecting element, which can be snapped together with the interior corrugated pipe of the flexible corrugated hose. In addition, the connecting element has sealing elements, which come into sealing contact with the corrugated pipe. Following the area receiving the sealing elements, the connecting element has a cone, which is used as a clamping section. An exterior squeeze ring, or other squeeze element, is used for pressing the exposed end of the corrugated pipe against the clamping section. A pressing sleeve is used for pressing, which drives the squeeze ring by a wedge effect inward. It has an appropriate conical interior surface. The squeeze ring moreover extends over the sheathing. For further securing of the connection, the pressing sleeve can be pressed together here with the sheathing by an appropriate deformation.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2002Date of Patent: March 28, 2006Assignee: Eaton Fluid Power GmbHInventors: Thomas Luft, Axel Schneider, Michael Markus Huck, Harald Twardawski

Publication number: 20040094953Abstract: A flexible corrugated hose fitting 1, which is particularly provided for high-pressure installations, such as airconditioning installations using CO2 as the refrigerant, has a connecting element 11, which can be snapped together with the interior corrugated pipe 5 of the flexible corrugated hose 3. In addition, the connecting element 11 has sealing elements 23, 24, which come into sealing contact with the corrugated pipe 5. Following the area receiving the sealing elements 23, 24, the connecting element 11 has a cone 26, which is used as a clamping section. An exterior squeeze ring 34, or other squeeze element, is used for pressing the exposed end of the corrugated pipe against the clamping section 26. A pressing sleeve 38 is used for pressing, which drives the squeeze ring 36 by a wedge effect inward. It has an appropriate conical interior surface 42. The squeeze ring 34 moreover extends over the sheathing 8.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2003Publication date: May 20, 2004Inventors: Thomas Luft, Axel Schneider, Michael Markus Huck, Harald Twardawski

Publication number: 20040093726Abstract: A plug-in line connector (1) for especially simple and secure assembly has a fluid-tight plug-in connection and a locking device (25), which is very easy to access when its retaining parts are assembled in the axial direction and which is locked so that it cannot be released by passing a locking point. A tension spring, which is formed as a ring and acts as a block, is used for the locking element. This guarantees particularly low activation forces and minimizes axial play.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 24, 2003Publication date: May 20, 2004Inventors: Michael Markus Huck, Bernd Halbrock, Thomas Luft, Harald Twardawski

Patent number: 6530604Abstract: A coupling arrangement connects two elements with each other. The coupling arrangement includes a plug element and a bushing element which are configured in such a manner that they can be plugged together and locked in position by means of an expandable retaining ring. An axially movable release arrangement cooperates with the retaining ring in order to release the locking mechanism. The coupling arrangement is characterized in that the release arrangement (41) comprises a release sleeve (43), which can be closed with a cover (51) on its side facing away from the bushing element (5), and that a blocking device (55) is used to prevent an inadvertent release of the coupling.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2001Date of Patent: March 11, 2003Assignee: Aeroquip-Vickers International GmbHInventors: Thomas Luft, Robert Stumpf, Johannes Schmid
