  • Publication number: 20250320279
Abstract: Provided are human polyclonal immunoglobulin products specific for influenza hemagglutinin (HA) protein for use in treating or preventing disease associated with an influenza infection. Further provided herein are methods for making such human polyclonal immunoglobulins in a transgenic ungulate, such as, but not limited to, using a transchromosomic bovine (TcB) system.

  • Patent number: 7432456
Abstract: A remotely attended scale system for providing certified weighing services for a vehicle. The system having a plurality of weigh sites located remotely from one another and a weighmaster located at a central location. The weighmaster verifies proper placement of the vehicle upon the scale, may facilitate a normal weighing process, and may interact with the driver before issuing a certificate of weight. The method of the present invention includes steps of initiating a weigh cycle, delegating a weighmaster located at a central location for the weigh cycle, establishing communication between a driver and the weighmaster, weighing the vehicle, downloading weight information to the central location, and dispensing a certificate of weight at the weigh site.

  • Publication number: 20070169209
Abstract: Disclosed are apparatuses and methods for the production of attenuated aseptic parasites in haematophagous insects generally, and production of Plasmodium species sporozoites in Anopheles species mosquitoes specifically; apparatuses and methods for the production of strains of haematophagous insects with desired properties such as hypoallergenicity or hyperinfectivity; methods of producing a parasite strain that is capable of withstanding cyropreservation at temperatures close to freezing; apparatuses and methods for the injection of an attenuated parasite vaccine; production of parasites and haematophagous insects that are free from contamination by unwanted biological agents; apparatuses for the reconstruction of complex parasitic life cycles aseptically to avoid the contamination of the parasite or the insect vector host with unwanted biological agents.
