  • Publication number: 20160257026
Abstract: A power tool has a guide bar with clamping area to secure the guide bar to a power tool housing and with guide groove guiding a chain. The guide bar has side elements delimiting a main fluid channel and an auxiliary fluid channel. The main fluid channel has a main fluid inlet at the first side element in the clamping area, a first main fluid outlet at the deflection area of the guide bar, and a second main fluid outlet that opens into the guide groove at a first longitudinal side of the guide bar. A fluid quantity flowing in operation through the main fluid channel is greater than a fluid quantity flowing through the auxiliary fluid channel. The auxiliary fluid channel has a first auxiliary fluid outlet at the deflection area and a second auxiliary fluid outlet that opens at a second longitudinal side into the guide groove.

  • Publication number: 20150273729
Abstract: A chain for a work implement has lateral connecting members connected to central driving members via studs. The stud has two lateral portions spaced apart from one another by a collar. A driving member is mounted pivotably on the collar. At the collar the stud has a surface layer harder than the base material. For a high chain service life, the stud has a diffusion layer above a surface layer above the base material. To produce the stud, the stud is provided with a diffusion layer at least at the collar, and a surface region of the collar is hardened, such that a surface layer is formed between the diffusion layer and the base material of the stud. For a method for producing a driving member, the driving member is provided with a diffusion layer at least at a circumferential surface of a hole and the driving member is hardened.

  • Publication number: 20150052762
Abstract: A guide bar for a saw chain includes an elongate, flat base body made of a basic material. The base body extends along a longitudinal center axis and, in order to guide a saw chain, has a running surface formed on an outer periphery thereof and a guide groove formed in the outer periphery of the base body. The guide groove has a groove base. A direction-reversing section for the saw chain is provided at one end of the base body. The direction-reversing section includes at least one add-on component having a running surface made of more wear-resistant material than the basic material of the base body. The add-on component is secured to the base body of the guide bar by at least one weld seam. The weld seam extends between the add-on component and the base body and is located spatially beneath the groove base.

  • Publication number: 20140302235
Abstract: A polymer workpiece is described. The workpiece has an upper main surface, a lower main surface, an injection-mold separating surface and a flow attack edge surface. The flow attack edge surface is formed in the region between the injection-mould separating surface and the lower main surface as a planar surface with an angle ? with respect to the injection-mould separating surface of 20° to 70°, and/or deviates by an amount a from 0.0 mm to 0.5 mm from the planar surface.

  • Publication number: 20140295129
Abstract: A method for producing a plastic trim part is described. The method has the following steps: laying a polymer film in an injection die, where the polymer film has an opaque or partially opaque imprint or color pigmentation which is decomposition-stable at a temperature of at least 250° C., back injecting the polymer film by a polymer carrier component and injecting a polymer cover part on the polymer film and the polymer carrier component.

  • Publication number: 20090138638
Abstract: A protocol may be implemented in a smart transceiver device that contains the physical (PHY) and media access control (MAC) layers of a protocol stack. In various embodiments, a serial peripheral interface (SPI) based design may be used. A protocol is disclosed that may be used to provide control and data transfer to and from the smart transceiver device. In particular, an exemplary format for the protocol, the commands, and responses is disclosed. In a further embodiment, a method for mode synchronization that does not require the use of additional pins and can be accomplished with the standard SPI pins is disclosed. In another embodiment, a method that permits frame timing on the SPI bus to be restored without resetting the slave device is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5820365
Abstract: A channel burner for heating up flowing gas, accommodated inside the channel (1) that conveys the gas and provided with an airbox (2) and a combustion space (3) separated by a burner floor (5). The airbox communicates with an air intake (6) and the burner floor is provided with air-outlet openings in the form of slots (15) in the vicinity of the wall (4) of the combustion space. A gas-supply pipe (7) extends through the airbox and communicates with one or more gas nozzles (12) with bores (13) that open into the combustion space. The outlet cross-section of the slots is beside the bores. The outlet cross-section of the slots is remote from and downstream of the bores in terms of the flowing gas. The slot extends toward the wall of the combustion space. The ratio of the width s of the slot to the width 1 of the combustion space ranges from 0.01:1 to 0.1:1 at the level of the outlet cross-section of the slots.
