  • Patent number: 10149514
Abstract: A system for securing shoes to the feet using a one pull shoe closure arrangement. Each embodiment of the system uses a squared-cord arrangement that extends between the lateral and medial sides of the shoe. The various embodiments arrange a single draw strap connected to one or more squared-cord portions to draw in and tighten the sides of the squared-cord arrangement. A single pull strap in a first embodiment is redirected from a lateral orientation to a longitudinal orientation where it is drawn back and secured on the heel portion of the shoe. Alternate embodiments pull a shorter draw strap laterally to a point of securement on the side of the shoe. Further alternate embodiments pull a draw strap longitudinally along a midline at the top of the shoe to a point of securement back onto the squared-cord arrangement.

  • Patent number: 9655413
Abstract: A system of attachment surface structures that find their best use in the form of repeatedly removable straps and bands for securing one object to another. The surfaces are preferably constructed of narrow sheets of flexible polymer plastic materials having generally high tensile strength. A first embodiment includes shaped parallel ridges on one surface that interlock with mating parallel ridges on an opposing surface. These parallel ridges may be double sided (interlocking on both sides of each shaped ridge with the next shaped ridge on either side) or single sided (interlocking with a single ridge oriented 180 degrees from the first). Further embodiments include an array of shaped posts of various regular geometric shapes that interlock with an opposing array of identical posts.

  • Patent number: 9565899
Abstract: A system for securing shoes to the feet utilizing a one or two pull fit adjustment set of straps. The embodiments utilize a number of straps, some variable in length, positioned at select points across and around the top and sides of the shoe. At least one strap in the system provides an adjustable length whereby all straps may be drawn together to tighten the shoe, preferably in both a horizontal and a vertical direction across the profile of the shoe. The system utilizes a variety of strong, lightweight, nylon buckles, strips, anchor loops, permitting attachment and motion of the adjustment straps over the top and sides of the shoe. Included are three-point attachment embodiments, as well as two-point attachment embodiments, most with a one pull adjustment structure. Most embodiments are on the medial side of the shoe although some may be implemented on the lateral side.

  • Patent number: 9364046
Abstract: Systems for securing shoes to the feet utilizing a one pull fit adjustment set of straps. The embodiments each utilize a number of straps, some fixed and some variable in length, positioned at select points across and around the top and sides of the shoe. At least one strap in the system provides an adjustable length whereby all straps may be drawn together to create a fit that tightens the shoe, preferably in both a horizontal and a vertical direction across the profile of the shoe. The systems use a variety of strong, but lightweight, nylon buckles, strips, anchor loops, and combinations thereof to permit the attachment and motion of the adjustment straps over the top and sides of the shoe. Three-point, as well as two-point attachment embodiments, most with a one pull adjustment are described. The systems are preferably on the medial side of the shoe.

  • Patent number: 9338308
Abstract: Systems and methods discussed herein relate to a personalized recommendation engine. The personalized recommendation engine makes recommendations for packages of components sold and/or supported by a telecommunications service provider such as electronic devices, accessories, subscription plans, services, and applications. These package recommendations are based upon user input, telecommunications service provider input, and customer feedback from customers who made previous purchases using the personalized recommendation engine. Each component from a pool of components is ranked based upon this input, package components are selected and bundled, and the packages are recommended to the user based upon the overall package score which is determined by user input, telecommunications service provider input, and in some cases customer feedback.

  • Publication number: 20160061463
Abstract: A structured mat that is placed on an automobile's dashboard (and/or the rear window shelf) and provided with a quantity of water, or other suitable liquid, that on heating will evaporate into the interior air of the vehicle. The mat structure includes a water impermeable layer that lays against and partially covers the top surface of the dashboard and/or rear shelf and a fluid wicking layer over the impermeable layer that may be saturated with evaporative fluid (on a repeated basis as necessary) and serve as a reservoir for the evaporative process to be carried out. The multilayered surface may be manually refilled with water (or other suitable liquid) from a hand held container or may be automatically refilled from reservoirs structured in fluid connection to the evaporative surface.

  • Patent number: 7481725
Abstract: The present invention involves a golf tee coated with colored coatings that when struck with a golf club leave a marking that easily identifies where the ball was struck on the club face and the path of the swing, but does not come off in normal handling. The tee leaves a multi-colored marking on the club face that is used to show the swing path of a golfer's swing and the point of impact of the tee on the face of the golf club. The tee has a center line or mark that represents the middle, which establishes the optimum hitting area. This line or mark is also an indicator for the golfer to line up in the direction they are trying to hit the ball. On either side of this colored line or mark is a different color that indicates the swing path when shown on the club face.
