    Abstract: An apparatus and method for assembling elongate box units are disclosed. The apparatus includes plural, elongate clamping elements which are constructed to define a corner configuration for adjacent side pieces of a box unit. Plural, elongate tensioning rods typically extend through the clamping elements in an array with the rods extending perpendicular to the elongate length of the box unit. The method of the invention teaches the use of the apparatus for forming the elongate box units.
