  • Patent number: 11920507
Abstract: An exhaust gas treatment system for an internal combustion engine includes an exhaust gas pathway that receives exhaust gas from the engine, a temperature sensor configured to generate a temperature signal associated with a temperature of the exhaust gas at a position along the exhaust gas pathway, and a reductant source. The system also includes first and second injectors in fluid communication with the reductant source. The first and second injectors are configured to inject reductant into the exhaust gas pathway at first and second rates. The system also includes a first treatment element positioned downstream of the first injector and within the exhaust gas pathway, and a controller in communication with the temperature sensor. The controller is configured to receive the temperature signal from the temperature sensor and adjust at least one of the first rate or the second rate based at least in part on the temperature signal.

  • Patent number: 5632553
Abstract: A floor lamp includes a base, an upstanding base column on the base, a housing fixedly supported atop the base column; a base electrical connector mounted on the housing and having recessed contacts that are oriented for receiving mating contacts engaging parallel to the column, electrical conductors extending within the base column for connecting the contacts to an external source. A lamp module of the floor lamp includes a module column, an illuminating fixture at one end of the module column, a module electrical connector mounted to the other end of the column and having the mating contacts projecting therefrom, the fixture being electrically connected between the mating contacts. A clamp nut rotatably retained on the lamp module supportively secures the lamp module on the base electrical connector by threadingly engaging a threaded shell of the base connector, thereby releasably clamping the module on the base column with the contacts in mating engagement.

  • Patent number: 5603562
Abstract: A combination fan/lamp includes a base, an upstanding base column on the base, a ring-shaped frame fixedly supported atop the base column for mounting a fan assembly having a motor that is spaced from the frame; a fixture column rigidly extending upwardly from the frame and having an illuminating fixture atop the fixture module column. In one configuration, the fan lamp further includes a lamphead that is supported in a desired position and orientation relative to the frame on a curvable gooseneck that projects from the frame, the gooseneck being sufficiently long for holding a full loop thereof while supporting the lamphead. In preferred configurations, modular mechanical and electrical connections are provided between the base and the frame and/or between the frame and the fixture. The fan assembly can be adjustably oriented relative to a main air path that is perpendicular to the base column. Also, the fan lamp can be provided with an oscillating fan.
