  • Patent number: 7043715
Abstract: There is disclosed improved apparatus and methodology for customizing software. With respect to GUI resources such as splash-screens, a dynamic link library containing a customer's customized resources and a default link library containing the manufacturer's default resources are prepared at design time. Source code is normally not included in the customized dynamic link library. At run time, the customer resources are automatically included by operation of a resource manager algorithm and appear on the computer terminal screen unless they were not made available initially in which case the equivalent default resource is shown on the screen. If there are any bugs which are induced by the customer's specifications to be corrected, or if the customized dynamic link library is changed for some other reason, the source code does not have to be rewritten as it is not included in the dynamic link library.

  • Publication number: 20020197670
Abstract: The invention provides for human progesterone receptor proteins (PR-M and PR-H) and polynucleotides that identify and encode the proteins. The invention also provides expression factor, host cells, and methods for treating and preventing disorders associated with the expression or binding of the PR-M and/or PR-H receptors. The invention also provides for antibodies, agonists, and antagonists that have utility in the treatment of similar disorders.

  • Patent number: 6202236
Abstract: A shooting harness is described in which a back member is supported by shoulder suspension members from the shoulders and across the upper back region of a shooter. A leg restraining member extends from the back member and includes at least one knee segment positioned to engage at least one of the shooter's legs in the vicinity of the knee with the shooter in a sitting shooting position. The back member and leg restraining member together form a shooter encircling loop that provides a substantially stable brace about the shooter's upper back, torso, and at least one knee to stabilize the shooter in a sitting shooting position.

  • Patent number: 5394100
Abstract: A probe system for probing a device under test (DUT) includes a DUT support chuck for holding the DUT. A plurality of flexible probe needles are positioned along a "Z" axis that extends orthogonally from the surface of the DUT. Each probe needle is movable with respect to the DUT support chuck. A motor provides for relative movement, at least along the Z axis, between the probe needles and the DUT support chuck. A variable focus imaging system is positioned along the Z axis and provides image signals to a control processor. The control processor causes the variable focus imaging system to image the surface of the DUT and at least one probe needle. The control processor is responsive to a determined distance between focal planes containing the DUT surface and probe needle to cause the motor to move the probe needle and the DUT surface into physical engagement.
