    Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining that a display, upon which is being presented a media program, is within a field of view of a user who is using an augmented reality device; presenting, via the augmented reality device, a first augmented reality display region, wherein the first augmented reality display region shows information associated with the media program, and wherein the first augmented reality display region is positioned adjacent the display in the field of view of the user; determining, by the processing system, that the field of view of the user has been positioned such that the display is no longer in the field of view of the user; and presenting, via the augmented reality device, a second augmented reality display region, wherein the second augmented reality display region shows the media program that is being presented on the display.
