  • Publication number: 20250251033
Abstract: A gearbox has an input shaft, an output shaft, three shifting elements, and three planetary gearsets each having a sun shaft, ring gear shaft, and web shaft. The first sun shaft, the second sun shaft, and the input shaft are connected rotationally fixed. Rotationally fixed connections are made between the first ring gear shaft and a stationary component, the first web shaft and the second ring gear shaft, the second web shaft and the third sun shaft, and the third web shaft and the output shaft. Closing the first shifting element connects the third ring gear shaft rotationally fixed to a stationary component. Closing the second shifting element connects in a rotationally fixed manner the first web shaft, the second ring gear shaft, the third web shaft, and the output shaft. Closing the third shifting element connects rotationally fixed two of the three shafts of the third planetary gearset.

  • Publication number: 20250249385
Abstract: A tubular depth filter element has one or more concentric zones. Each zone includes layers of a melt blown filament. An additional filament oscillates through the depth of the element, traversing through part of the depth of the filament with each oscillation but traversing through substantially all of the depth of the element over multiple oscillations. The traversing filament is preferably biased towards the outside of the element. The depth filter element may be made by spraying filaments onto a rotating mandrel. The filaments of the concentric zones are sprayed from fixed nozzles spaced apart along the length of the mandrel. The traversing filament is sprayed from a nozzle assembly that moves laterally or has compound motion relative to the mandrel. For example, the nozzle assembly may oscillate relative to the mandrel while an air attenuator of the nozzle assembly oscillates relative to the remainder of the nozzle assembly.

  • Publication number: 20250201499
Abstract: A circuit breaker includes two sets of separable contacts in series per pole, primary contacts and secondary contacts, reducing overall let-through energy and peak pressures within the arcing chambers of the breaker during arc interruption. Opening both sets of contacts produces two arcs in series per pole, and the two series arcs increase the line to load resistance of the breaker relative to when only one set of contacts are opened. The increased line to load resistance causes the peak let-through current, Ipk, to decrease relative to what Ipk would be if only one set of contacts were to be opened. The circuit breaker also includes an internal primary vent that vents gases away from the primary contacts to another area within the circuit breaker housing, and a secondary exhaust vent that vents gases away from the secondary contacts to the exterior of the circuit breaker.
