    Abstract: A method for operating a tractor-trailer combination made up of a towing vehicle and a trailer including an overrun brake. A total weight of the tractor-trailer combination is ascertained using a drive torque of the towing vehicle and an acceleration of the tractor-trailer combination. A trailer braking effect of the overrun brake is determined using a deceleration of the tractor-trailer combination, the total weight, and a vehicle braking effect of the towing vehicle without the trailer. A brake force distribution of the towing vehicle is set using the trailer braking effect.

    Abstract: A method for adjusting a light-level of at least one headlamp for a vehicle. The method includes a reading in; a determining; an ascertaining; and a providing. In the reading in, a position-signal is read in, which represents the current-position of the vehicle. In the determining, a topography-signal is determined using the position-signal, which represents a stored item of information about a roadway-topography at the current position, especially in the case of a curvature and/or a drop of a roadway. In the ascertaining, an angle of inclination of the headlamp to be adjusted for the optimal illumination of the roadway in front of the vehicle is ascertained using the topography-signal. In the providing, an actuating-signal is provided for an adjustment mechanism of the headlamp using the ascertained-angle of inclination to tilt the headlamp to the ascertained-angle of inclination so that the light level of the headlamp is adjustable.

    Abstract: A method for the inference computation of a plurality of neural networks on a hardware platform. Each of the neural networks comprise a plurality of neurons, which respectively aggregate inputs into a network input using a transfer function characterized by weights and process this network input into an activation using an activation function. The method includes: identifying at least one unit, which comprises one or multiple transfer functions and/or complete neurons and exists in at least two of the networks in the same form or in a form that is similar according to a predefined criterion; performing a single inference computation for the unit on the hardware platform so that the unit provides a set of outputs; processing this set of outputs in the respective networks as an output of the unit. A method for the simultaneous execution of multiple applications is also provided.
