  • Publication number: 20220061359
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a flavoring and sweetening gelatin drop for a beverage gradually sweetens and flavors a hot beverage. The method includes a first quantity of water, a quantity of gelatin, a second quantity of water, a quantity of base sweetening mixture, a quantity of emulsification mixture, a quantity of high-intensity flavoring mixture, and a first quantity of grain-based starch. The method begins by heating and mixing the quantity of gelatin into the first quantity of water. The quantity of base sweetening mixture and the second quantity form a slurry solution. The quantity of emulsification mixture is mixed into the slurry solution. The gelatin solution and the slurry solution form the final solution. The quantity of high-intensity flavoring mixture is mixed into the final solution. The final solution is deposited into the quantity of grain-based starch, and the final solution is cured for a specified time period.

  • Publication number: 20170372639
Abstract: Medical treatment simulation systems and devices are disclosed. One device includes an overlay, a simulated treatment structure, at least one feedback device, and at least one processor. The overlay is configured to be secured to the live subject and to cover at least a portion of a body of the live subject. The simulated treatment structure is configured to simulate a structure associated with the medical procedure. The at least one feedback device is configured to provide a feedback signal to the live subject. The at least one processor is connected to the simulated treatment structure and the at least one feedback device. The processor is programmed to operate the feedback device to provide the feedback signal based upon input generated from interaction between a treatment provider and the simulated treatment structure. The disclosed devices may be used to simulate intravenous, catheter, defibrillation, and/or thoracic treatments.

  • Publication number: 20150330534
Abstract: The specification discloses a multi-stage injection pipe and method for manufacturing a multi-stage injection pipe. The multi-stage injection pipe includes a plurality of thermocomposite high pressure pipes and a thermocomposite tendon. A jacket surrounds the high pressure pipes and the tendon. The space between the jacket and the high pressure pipes is filled with a matrix material having the same polymer chemistry as the high pressure pipes, the tendon, and the jacket. The multi-stage injection pipe is manufactured by co-extruding the high pressure pipes, the tendon, the matrix material and the jacket, and then allowing the components to bond to one another to maintain the high pressure pipes in position.

  • Publication number: 20100294806
Abstract: A door-handle apparatus includes a handle assembly that can be used to move a door. A reservoir for holding a sanitizing agent may be positioned within a cavity defined by the handle assembly. A sanitizing agent dispenser is coupled to the handle assembly and is in communication with the reservoir. The sanitizing agent dispenser may be positioned so that it releases the sanitizing agent in a direction away from the handle assembly. The reservoir may be removable from the handle assembly. An opening in the handle assembly may provide access to the reservoir. The handle assembly may be attached to a support plate that is secured to a door.
