  • Patent number: 10549381
Abstract: A system for producing components by hot stamping includes a laser cutting station for cutting a plate from a supplied steel-sheet material. The plate has at least one of a predetermined edge-contour and a predetermined cut-out portion for forming a shape of the component. The plate is stored in a storage station, and is subsequently transferred to a furnace station for heating the plate to a predetermined deformation temperature. A press having a hot stamping tool forms the plate into the shape of the component. The system also includes a measuring station disposed downstream of the press for obtaining measurement data relating to the shape of the component that is formed from the plate. The measurement data obtained using the measuring station is provided to a control module of the laser cutting station via a feedback loop.

  • Patent number: 6938314
Abstract: A method of fastening at least two large-surface components together by hole-punching rivets, in which the rivets are driven through the components by rivet drivers and against dollies, and fastening the components together. The components rest on supports, and the dollies are a part of these supports; each of the rivet drivers as well as the dollies are guided unfocused to a correct position where a hole-punching rivet is to be placed.

  • Publication number: 20030051332
Abstract: A method of fastening two or more components together by rivets. Drivers (12) drive the rivets through the components and against dollies (6) and/or clinch them. The object is a method that can be carried out with lighter-weight devices and at higher speeds. The components that are to be fastened together rest on a device that the dollies are part of. The device (3) is provided with means of positioning, securing, and guiding the components. The individual dollies (6) are positioned below the riveting points.
