Abstract: A heat containment system is provided comprising a double wall steel insulated box, a vent system with a flame arrestor and a filter, a fire proof insulated lid with a fire proof seal and a latch, a fire proof wire way, and a built in charger stand. The system is configured to contain heat of a fire. The vent system to prevent excessive pressure inside the box. The built in charger stand holds a charger. The box contains heat of a battery fire associated with charging of a lithium battery. The box has a vent system to prevent excessive pressure inside the box from combustion gases. The vent system has a filter that removes soot from the combustion gases.
