    Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing an email reminder. In one embodiment, a method for providing an email reminder comprises determining that an outgoing email has been sent and querying a sender of the outgoing email if the sender would like to receive the email reminder. A command to provide the email reminder is received. It is then determined if a response to the outgoing email has been received from a recipient of the outgoing email. If a response from the recipient is not received within a predetermined time period, a notification is provided to said sender indicating same.
