Abstract: A window lifter assembly for adjusting a window pane comprising a rail defining a track, a slider coupled to and configured to translate along the track to move the window pane, a pulley rotatably coupled the rail, and a cable wound around the pulley and operatively connected to the slider so that movement of the cable rotates the pulley and moves the window pane, wherein the pulley is provided with an anti-friction coating that is configured to form a bearing surface between the pulley and an untreated portion of the rail.
