Abstract: An oral care implement with a handle includes a head with a tissue cleanser. The tissue cleanser may be a pad composed of an elastomeric material. The pad is disposed on the head on a surface opposite the tooth cleaning elements. The tissue cleanser may include a plurality of nubs extending for cleaning between the papillae of the tongue. The tissue cleanser may include a plurality of conically shaped nubs. A tissue cleanser can be used to reduce oral malodor problems and remove oral epithelial cells.

Abstract: A toothbrush is provided for cleaning and/or massaging of teeth and gums having a mechanical vibratory element and a head having cleaning/treating elements on a plurality of different types of cleaning areas which provide for an enhanced cleaning, scrubbing and massaging effect. The cleaning/treating elements have different physical characteristics so that in addition to providing a varied cleaning/treating effect from the cleaning/treating elements themselves there is enhanced treatment as a result of the movement of the cleaning/treating elements imparted by the mechanical vibratory device.

Abstract: A method of inducing a sale of a product in a retail environment includes providing the product in a storage structure from which a potential purchaser may take physical possession of the product. A true hologram is provided to project a three-dimensional holographic image into a first space proximate to the storage structure to attract potential purchaser attention. The holographic image from the true hologram is used to communicate information about the product to the potential purchaser.

Abstract: The head of a toothbrush includes a first tuft block having bristles and a second tuft block having bristles. The first and second tuft blocks are mounted for counter-rotational or counter-rotational oscillating movement in a direction parallel to the outer surface of the head. The toothbrush head also includes a third section having bristles extending outwardly from the head to provide an extended field of bristles to support an elongated ribbon of toothpaste and for enhanced cleaning.

Abstract: According to the practice of the present invention, a toothbrush with two distinct, flexible bristle groups, a more densely packed first bristle group adjacent the toe of the toothbrush and a less densely packed second bristle group further from the brush toe, each group containing at least one radius of curvature and the second grouping containing two subsets of bristle tufts, the first subset of bristle tufts angled toward the toe of the toothbrush and the other away therefrom, which combination of features provides enhanced conformity to the curvature of the teeth and enhanced cleaning thereof.
