  • Publication number: 20190354346
Abstract: A processor in an apparatus having a plurality of audio output interfaces receives volume commands from a control interface configured to receive commands from a control device comprising at least one volume button enabling two input possibilities. Until a selection of an audio output interface has been validated a volume button command received causes selection of an audio output interface. Upon validation of the selection of the audio output interface, the processor modifies an output audio volume for the validated audio output interface in accordance with received volume commands. A first received volume command can cause the processor to display selectable audio outputs.

  • Publication number: 20190055033
Abstract: An aircraft comprises a fuselage, at least a first electrical generator and a second electrical generator, a set of electrical equipment items distributed in the fuselage and an electrical power distribution network comprising a switching system and a set of buses. The buses comprise at least a first bus and a second bus extending, at least partly, in a longitudinal direction of the fuselage and following segregated paths in the fuselage. In a normal mode of operation, the switching system links the first electrical generator to the first bus and the second electrical generator to the second bus. Each bus comprises connection points at different locations distributed along its length and each of the electrical equipment items is linked to a connection point of a bus via a local electrical power supply link.

  • Publication number: 20190039715
Abstract: The modular element for a hybrid electrical power distribution and data communication network of an aircraft comprises a section of a bus and a set of data links extending substantially parallel along a length of the modular element. The bus section comprises connection points at different locations distributed along its length. The set of data links comprises connection points at different locations distributed along its length, each arranged in proximity to a connection point of the bus section. It also comprises a data link between each of the connection points and a cross-connect point. The bus section and the set of data links comprise interconnection points making it possible to link the modular element to first and second, other, modular elements arranged longitudinally in series with the modular element.

  • Publication number: 20190044748
Abstract: An aircraft comprises a fuselage, a set of electrical equipment items distributed in the fuselage, and a hybrid electrical power distribution and data communication network. The latter comprises a set of buses comprising at least one electrical power distribution bus extending, at least partly, in a longitudinal direction of the fuselage. A set of data links is associated with each bus of the set of buses. The bus and the associated set of data links each comprise connection points at different locations distributed along their length, forming pairs of connection points. Each of the electrical equipment items of the set of electrical equipment items is linked to a pair of connection points via a local electrical power supply link and/or via a local data link.

  • Patent number: 9794507
Abstract: A method and device for filtering a content menu. A list including two or more content items to be filtered is displayed. One or more selectable filters associated to a first hierarchy of filters are displayed. Responsive to detecting a first user input, a first filter in the first hierarchy of filters is selected, the list of content items is automatically filtered, and one or more selectable filters associated to a second hierarchy of filters is automatically provided. Responsive to detecting a second direction user input a second filter in the second hierarchy of filters is selected, the list of content items is automatically filtered according to the first and the second filters; and the filtered list of content items is displayed. The filtered list of content items includes a subset of the content items of the initially displayed list of content items.

  • Publication number: 20160174059
Abstract: The present invention describes equipment for activating a multi-user mode between mobile devices arranged within at least one network. The processing equipment includes an interface of communication configured to receive multi-user mode notifications from at least a first and a further mobile devices connected to the processing equipment. A multi-user mode module is configured to activate a multi-user mode between at least the first and further mobile devices when, the positions of the first and further mobile devices meet a position criterion; or the orientations of the first and further mobile devices meet an orientation criterion.

  • Publication number: 20160034453
Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing a search parameter is disclosed. The method comprises displaying a selection menu comprising a plurality of parameters; receiving a first selection of a first one of the plurality of the parameters; displaying a container responsive to the first selection; displaying a first portion of the container associated with the selected first parameter responsive to the first selection; and assigning a first weight of the selected first parameter, the first weight representing a ratio of a first area occupied by the first portion and an entire area of the container.

  • Patent number: 8594089
Abstract: A method of broadcasting data from a multicast source (S) to a plurality of receivers (CL) in a telecommunications network (1) in accordance with a broadcasting strategy, including: a step (E40) of receiving parameters (STAT, AG, CS); a step (E50) of adjusting said strategy as a function of said parameters; and in the event of modification of said strategy, a step (E70) of broadcasting in a multicast signaling channel, an identifier of this new broadcasting strategy.

  • Publication number: 20120167143
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for displaying a program guide is proposed. The program guide contains a list of channels and a time scale and the programs which are receivable within a time represented by the time scale are displayed. The programs which are displayed correspond to the channel on which the programs are received. The inventive method further contains the following steps: checking if a specific program is selected, if a program is selected, checking if the time scale includes the start time and the end time of the program, if the time scale does not include the start time or the end time of the program, adapting the time scale such that it includes the start time and the end time of the program, and displaying the program guide using the adapted time scale.

  • Publication number: 20110087991
Abstract: A technique for establishing an IPv6 address for a network device involves displaying a prefix field for accessing a list of IPv6 address prefixes, an interface identifier field for accessing a list of interface identifiers, and a fillable address field for entering an IPv6 address. An IPv6 address is constructed in the address field from an IPv6 address prefix selected from the prefix field and an interface identifier selected from the interface identifier field. The IPv6 address can be modified by manually entering characters via a user interface. A technique for displaying IPv6 addresses involves combining a mnemonic, which replaces the digits of the IPv6 address prefix portion of the address, together with the digits of the interface identifier of the IPv6 address. IPv6 addresses not associated with a mnemonic are readily identifiable.
